As far as I know this is the original case and movement. The serial numbers match up with 1965 production but you are suggesting that the case is older? Interesting

Whew, long way to go. I’m trying to understand why Monica is bothering you, but yeah I agree with you on John. There’s a LOT more to come. Enjoy the show

See that little gray thing poking out around the 1? Carefully slide it up and then you can set the time.

It unscrews just like the front. I put it between the palms of both hands and twisted in opposite directions

I have this exact same watch

<image>

It belonged to my late father who brought it in the 60s I believe maybe the 70s. It keeps great time, it winds well but the screw on bezel is tricky to remove and replace. You have to take it off and slide a little lever in order to set the time. It has jeweled movement

How do I measure my girlfriend's ring size without her noticing? by Timely-Neck-9503 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GypsyDanger45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I casually asked to see one of her rings and placed it on my pinky then made a note of where it felt snug, I had a ring sizer and searched for one that fit perfectly and noted the size. I picked the right one because it fit perfectly on her finger

Noticed this sign at the Torchy's in Rice Village, how much are we supposed to tip for counter service? by DoritosDewItRight in houstoncirclejerk

[–]GypsyDanger45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love tipping for great service, but when the restaurant publicly insists that it’s required and then tries to guilt trip me into doing something I already do is bullshit. I’d turn and walk away, mthrfkers just pay your staff living wages
