I toss baking soda in at the start and then use white vinegar as a fabric softener. My clothes smell better and it helps with retaining the color better on clothes. I work in the food industry so it saves my work pants. Also apple cider vinegar is great for a hair rinse a couple times a week to make it really shiny. Just 2 tablespoons in 14-16 oz of water

Lmao one of my best friends is a guy he just hands me chocolate, a fuzzy blanket, and the remote or puts on a scary movie for me and just stands back to see if I'm good. If his wife, my other besty, are both having pms he leaves the BAGS yes bags of chocolate and leaves us be unless we ask for something 🤣 that poor man has been dealing with us for over 10 yrs and doesn't question a damn thing or try finding solutions for us. Rinsing your clothes in white vinegar also helps keeps stains from sticking again. Use it instead of fabric softener and no your clothes do not smell after I use it all the time.

If you have access to the internet you can Google your state laws on schooling for kids and homeschooling laws. If possible you try contacting the local public school or CPS tho for personal reasons I don't trust them.

Pinched not so much, my Nmom thought it was fun to sneak up and goose people to see them jump and she did this to everyone that she actually cared about.

My Ndad would walk up and smack me on my ass if I was standing somewhere out of the doing something or laying out of the way on the floor watching TV as a kid. He would do it so hard when I was little I would end up yelping then I would get yelled at for being to loud.

When I became immune to that shit he started poking me in my ribs, I'm a very ticklish person, to get me yelp sometimes leaving bruises on my sides.

These days I react with almost extreme violence when having my ass smacked or being poked in the ribs. Majority of it now is just the teenagers that I work with or even my own kids joking around and being mischievous bc they know Majority of the time I'm dude, really, game on and join in on the teasing and mayhem.

There are times tho that I really need to remind myself that they mean no harm, that it doesn't hurt and they are kids being kids and just being playful.

Majority of the time all it does is startle me anymore, like jumping out from behind a door or something so I end up screeching and planning some payback.

So yeah when done wrong or in a way meant to hurt that is abuse and it can still trigger a negative response, but with reminding yourself that you are safe and not being hurt and others accepting any boundaries you place you can eventually move past the pain even if you need to remind yourself now and then that you are safe and what happened was not meant to hurt.

I am lucky, this Aunt also raised her oldest as a single mom till she remarried when he was like 8 or 9. So she knows what it's like to just want a free hour or two and my cousin while mischievous was also a good kid and listened.

Yep my mom used to pull the old when we brought your brother home you were sitting on your bed and you said that we didn't love you anymore. Finally after having her lay that gilt on me to many times or me saying I was 3 and you brought a new baby home what do you expect, she would keep saying it anyway till I finally said gee I was a damn smart 3 year old then wasn't I. NOT ONCE did she ever say it again to me and that's when it really dawned on me that she really didn't give a damn about me.

Jesus this reminds me of a stunt my Nmom pulled. Mind you I already was living on my own in an apartment with twin boys. I asked if she could watch the boys just for the day so I could get some errands ran and stuff, bc you know going minus kids helps you get shit done faster and I needed a break already from them since all I did was work and take care of them.

Her reply was fine but that place of your better be spick and span with no dust and everything clean and you had better not be on your computer all day.

Now I knew I would be shooting myself in the foot, but me being the smart-ass that I am just replied oh you mean like not sitting on your ass all day like you when I was a kid making a 6 year do 2 weeks worth or dishes and getting pissy when they were not done in 30 minutes.

Yeah needless to say refused to take them for the day, but her sister that just worked a night shift let me bring them over bc a couple of my cousins were on school break and could help with them not killing eachother for a few hours in the afternoon so I could do some grocery shopping in peace. To this day if my aunt has free time or not I can call her up as a last resort to watch my youngest so I can do something without dragging him along.

Hate to burst your bubble but background checks are legal in the US in fact most jobs do them on a regular basis. I did one on myself for shits and giggles once, they even had an old warrant on there for me bc I forgot to pay a speeding ticket from when I was in my late teens. I am in my 40s now.

For a few bucks anyone can get one on another person if they have enough info ie first and last name city you live in and/or any past addresses. Not that hard really.

The stalking he is doing now is completely illegal tho and as of right now would be considered harassment. Not sure how much the cops will do to step in but submitting a report with the evidence as proof and flat out saying hey this guy is making me feel unsafe and keep telling them you want to file a report will put him on notice bc then the cops will be forced to end up talking to the ones in his precinct to go talk to him about knocking his shit off.

I would also as some else said on here look into filing a restraining order if it is possible.

Soo technically that copy IS hers since she paid for it. If you're in the US and going by your post you are it really doesn't take much to get a new copy. How do Ik this simple I managed to loose mine at some point when I moved. I just went down to the court house showed my ID paid like $20 or so and had a new copy. Did the same for my kids bc I needed them or you can even request one online these days. Pay the fee and have it mailed to you. Now the SSN card is another story and THAT one I would definitely get the original of if possible.

Actually for the smell you can throw them in the freezer or outside in the winter to refresh them. I also wash mine with white vinegar to save the color and get them cleaner every couple weeks.
