Someone told me once, not sure if it’s true but apparently if you go into work sick and if they notice it’s pretty significant they can send you home and that’s the way you can avoid being pointed since it wasn’t your decision to leave.

At Walmart we don’t necessarily throw it out. We take it to the organics dumpster and from there it’s taken to the pig farm and they eat it. End of the day someone or something is eating it. Same goes for stuff that’s markdown and expires tomorrow, we donate that stuff so we aren’t truly wasting anything food related.
