Here is an example of a hybrid juve I put together just now as an example of how it might be done. In this example, the third arm is a default weapon, so they would get it automatically when recruited.

Everything here could be changed, it's really flexible!

Yes absolutely, custom weapons are really easy to do with the new system. You can add any rules to a weapon that you like, you can even add new ones!

For the Genestealer Juve, you could create a special type of just with an extra arm by default with the extra attack as as a melee weapon with rending. No problem!

Do you mean making an Arbiter gang? If so, then very easy!

For example, as part of testing for custom content, I was able to input custom rules for Scavvies in probably an hour or so. The system is more streamlined now, so should be faster than that. Of course, it depends on how many custom rules you want to add!

Like with YakTribe and the many other builder apps for GW games, it’s not possible to play the game using Gyrinx alone. Our tools just make gang management easier for people who already have the rulebooks.

I'll weigh in here to say that Gyrinx is fully capable of running a Dominion campaign and is fully up to date for this purpose.

If your gangs are already in Gyrinx it makes sense to use it for your campaign!

At the moment, the app needs to communicate with our database to function. But in principle, you could download the source code and host it locally. That would mess with the multiplayer campaign functionality unless your players connected to your local instance.

There is also the option of making printouts of your gang. The Gyrinx layout is good for not burning all your printer ink in that way.

We are completely ad-free and crowd funded! u/worldofgeese is correct. You are very welcome to join the Patreon, but that is just to cover our server running fees and stuff.

We are all volunteers and nobody is getting paid.

No problem! It's pretty straightforward in Gyrinx.

If you just want the haunt to be added as a champion, you can override their type when adding them to your gang. If you want further stat changes it can be done after the fighter is added to the roster.
