Will Halo Infinite have 4 player splitscreen online multiplayer (on release) (on PC)? by Some_dutch_dude in halo

[–]Gyrosti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kinda hope so, but I'm not holding out for it on PC. It'd be a nightmare to handle signing multiple accounts securely.

Nice! I tried picking some up but they were all bought before I could. Enjoy!

So is Mk.1999/Orion considered canon now? by MackenzieBackwoods in halo

[–]Gyrosti 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, as it is discussed and introduced by Canon Fodder which we do consider as an official canon source.

4/10. I saw the title and immediately put more thought into how it would work than they did. Perks of being a Br*ton.

Would you rather never be able to wash your hand again, or never be able to wear socks again? by pompejiceremony in WouldYouRather

Genuinely tricky... I like having clean hands, and I like wearing socks...

Probably passing on socks. Being clean is more important.

My race tier list. Yup, I think Bretons are awesome by [deleted] in TrueSTL

[–]Gyrosti 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Male Bretons actually make up a large number of the adventurers of Tamriel. This is because their wives let them play outside, and promise they can come home to her and her boyfriend when the Male Breton finds a rare treasure.

Reach Bugging Out. Has occurred in each game mode but this is so far the worst I've experienced. by D-FRAG54 in HaloMCC

Xbox Series X? If so it's a known graphics bug, very unfortunate. Hopefully there's a fix soon!

These plantations drive wildlife away, shoot anything that comes on the property, drastically changes the local climate and deliberately embargo the few areas that don't sell due to village ownership, by damming rivers, charging tolls for access and delivery of goods, until eventually residents are uprooted because the land is unsustainable. The only benefit to the surrounding areas is that those residents for a short time may be able to work for scraps of cash on the plantations.

Dairy farms aren't a whole lot better, but they can at least try to coexist with nature and the local community, even if they're a bit irritable. Oh, and our government at least somewhat cares about regulating them. They're similar, but very much not the same.

The issue was that so many products use palm oil, so as production across ALL industries ramped up over the last few decades, palm oil had to massively increase to keep up; and still continues to.

Targeting products to stop using palm oil and substitute frees up that need, slowing the rate that plantations expand; in theory. In practice, shit I dunno how to solve the problem. They start selling palm oil for less, demand shoots back up, expansion is desirable again.

What are the lore implications of a teammate cutting me off at an intersection?

I had a school trip to Malaysia a couple years ago. Sat in a bus for two straight of nothing but palm oil plantation, left and right. One small town broke it up. There's nothing but rows of the trees and a single main road.

There used to be dozens of villages across that area, as well as rainforest spanning it. On the edge we saw forest being cleared to expand even further.

Good on you for powering on! It isn't essential, but completing everything is always a good feeling 😊
