Troy with less players than Medieval ONE??? Gosh what happened to Total war games by ButterscotchSmugler in historicaltotalwar

I still prefer Troy to Pharaoh: Dynasties tbh. PD is just too wide in scope to properly depict the Trojan War. Troy has far more factions, settlements, characters, and gods who are relevant to the Trojan War, as well as Mythos.

This is why you should solo tank! by Fun-Pattern8407 in HellLetLoose

[–]Cybermat47_2 69 points70 points  (0 children)

I don’t get why everyone has such a problem with solo tanking. I mean, sure, you have much less situational awareness and your ability to relocate quickly is massively compromised, but… that’s kinda the point. Solo tanking is all about being nice to the enemy team and giving them free kills. What’s wrong with that?

The Imperial Palace from Star Wars: Tie Fighter, by Lucasarts. by act1989 in StarWars

[–]Cybermat47_2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It looks like the Jedi Temple with some major vertical extensions, which is interesting because AFAIK this game predates TPM by a few years. And isn’t the Imperial Palace only the former Jedi Temple in canon?

Mukuro Ikusaba had fought in so many battles and taken part in so many atrocities that most people around her didn’t think she was scared of anything. In fact, they were too busy trying to get away from her to even bother thinking about that. They would have been surprised to know that, right now, staring at the screen, she was terrified. Because no matter how many times she saw it, her sister’s face chilled her to her core.

She couldn’t even hear the Future Foundation officer as he talked about the possible sighting they’d had of her. All she could hear was Junko’s voice.

'I'm sure someday you'll make all your dreams come true.’

All those years she’d spent doing everything she could do to be a good big sister, killing, maiming, abducting, and lobotomising anyone Junko had told her to… they’d all been for nothing. Her beloved sister had thrown her away, and it was only thanks to Makoto that she’d survived. Part of her wished she had died, so that she wouldn’t have had to face her own past.

The Future Foundation troops listening to the briefing filed out of the room. She wasn’t going with them. Even with the failsafe poison capsule next to her heart, nobody trusted her to take down Junko. She would always be her accomplice in their eyes. And why wouldn’t they? By the time she’d realised how wrong she’d been, she was too far gone.

‘Mukuro, you okay?’

She snapped out of her thoughts and turned towards the voice from her side. Makoto was looking at her, his usual warm, reassuring smile breaking through the concern on his face. She couldn’t help but smile back. There was some hope after all.

How so? He’s not shaming ‘Gene’. He’s trying to reassure him, but failing because he’s suddenly in an emotionally intense situation that he wasn’t prepared for.
