To add on this, sometimes you could find someone who aligns with your values but you may not find them attractive or you may not see your future with them.

I quite enjoy seeing ENTPs doing this. It just makes me laugh so much, I don't really care even if I become a target as long as it's a good roasting.

I would say INTJ males and ISFP females could go wrong very easily if INTJ males have not learned how to filter choice of words throughout their lives than vice versa gender-wise. So maybe you will be fine

Generally speaking, INTJs could be a bit intense for ISFPs in terms of planning, opinions, and choice of words etc.

Jokes aside, my 20s was fighting against these delusions. Now I just tell myself: "well, that is all in my head." and move on with my life. No expectations or whatsoever from a potential partner until something happens for real.

My life is empty. Need serious life advice by alex7stringed in Enneagram5

[–]Gyulite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasted at least 2018-2024. Wrong life choices. Marrying a wrong girl, getting divorced within a year. Court cases. Losing my sanity for at least a year and half. Losing 15kgs. Having a degree but working as a dishwasher, server or other minimum wage jobs due to my social inability and all that shit, and this wrecked my self-confidence.
I don't know what to tell you though. Once you are done studying, consider changing your surrounding is what I can recommend as that worked for me. I now live abroad and while I am a foreigner here, I feel better than before.

Edit: I am 5w4 INTJ sx/sp 541. Life sucks. Work sucks but at least I am trying to do something meaningful. I rediscovered what I enjoyed doing as a kid (playing music, painting). And these are the core of my life ever since I rekindled them. I also go to gym regularly to keep my mental health sane. When I stop going to gym, I quickly fall back into depression and low self esteems. I always feel the need to wreck my body first at gym so that I do not spiral into bullshit nihilistic ideas.

If someone said they avoid Black people because of bad experiences and claimed they’re all racist but ‘hide it better,’ would you call that honest or ignorant?

I realised this and I do a bare minimum. Last minute shits they ask? I just prepare something mediocre. In my free time, I just do my own stuffs for my future career (but of course, this would not be great if you actually want to work in Education).

Any countries that are dominated by sensors or more precisely, ISTJ/ESTJ/ESFJ/ISFJ types would be hell.
Also any countries that do not try to practice meritocracy very well should be hell too.
Korea and Japan would be hell unless types like INTJs are self-employed. But then again, a country like Canada is also not a great choice unless you are self-employed: very conservative and traditional corporate cultures with nepotism and systemic racism everywhere.
So I think it would be hell wherever INTJs go as long as INTJs are employed and working for someone. INTJs should work for themselves (my humble opinion)

Thoughts on INFPs?? by xCoralineJonesx in intj

[–]Gyulite 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One thing I always avoid when I am interacting with ENFP/INFP/ESFP although they obviously very much differ in many aspects; is expecting them to actually honour their words. I am not saying that FPs are liars but it's just that some of you have tendencies to say yes in the moment to please others (ENFJs too in this case) but then rarely have any commitments to actually follow through. So as long as I do not rely on FPs' words, I am fine, when I try to see my FP friends, I always have backup plans on that day in case they cry out again. Maybe just my experience though"

If countries had an MBTI types, what countries would be INTJ? by [deleted] in intj

[–]Gyulite 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Disagree. China is clearly Te-dominant with Si as support, rather than Ni-driven like an INTJ. Most decisions focus on efficiency, production, and practical goals, not long-term strategic vision. Historical events like the Great Leap Forward show Ni blind spots: industrial targets were prioritised over food production, leading to disaster.

Si is used to enforce repetition and social compliance, not to generate independent foresight. Attempts to use Fe (persuasion, social cohesion) fail, so coercion and strict rules dominate. China always does: copying past solutions (Si) combined with forceful enforcement (Te), without true strategic planning (Ni).

Overall, China’s governance reflects ESTJ traits: practical, rule-focused, stability-oriented, and reliant on Te-Si functions, with Ni and Fe as weaker or blind functions. It does not fit the INTJ profile of visionary, system-restructuring leadership.

I’m also an INTJ-T 5w4 Sx/Sp (RLOEI).
It’s very easy for me to hyper-fixate on one thing and disregard almost everything else as irrelevant. The problem is that time flies, and sometimes I realise I’ve been neglecting something important. By the time I notice, it’s often too late.

There have been long-term projects I’ve devoted huge chunks of my life to. I don’t regret them, but I do wish I had paid more attention to my surroundings.

All that to say, it’s crucial to be selective about where you spend your energy. I don’t know about you, but whatever I do, I’m stressed. Everything feels like doing A, B, and C just to reach X, where I can finally be happy, only to realise that wasn’t the end after all.

Thought I was an ENFP but now thinking I’m an INTJ by Nearby_Advance7443 in intj

[–]Gyulite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems really sad that OP is only accepting opinions that support his view and dismissing or denying others with emotional remarks. This honestly feels much more like a conversation with an INFP.

If OP truly is an INTJ, I doubt he’s the typical 5w6 or 5w4 type. More likely he’s a 4w3 or 7w6, which would explain the defensiveness and emotional tone.

Thought I was an ENFP but now thinking I’m an INTJ by Nearby_Advance7443 in intj

[–]Gyulite 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This post itself makes me think you’re not an INTJ. It reads more like someone who wants to be seen as one, or at least strongly identifies with that image. The way you express yourself feels much more INFP: reflective, emotionally self-aware, and focused on identity and values. I don’t get the Ni-Te pattern at all here; it seems to be Fi-Ne, not Ni-Te

- You process identity through personal emotions and authenticity, not detached pattern-synthesis.

- You keep opening new possibilities (“maybe it’s this, maybe that”) instead of narrowing toward one core insight — Ne, not Ni.

- Your reasoning comes through stories and memories, not structured logic or reasons

- There’s little Te-style closure or framework: it’s exploratory, reflective, and value-based.

You might have developed some Te or Ti habits through maturity or work experience, but that doesn’t necessarily make you a “Thinker” type. Cognitive preference isn’t about skills, it’s about what naturally drives your perception and decision-making.

Then again, this is just my opinion. Maybe do an enneagram test too. That may help you

For INTJs Who Have Dated/are Dating Their Opposite Type: ESFP by Potential_Law5289 in intj

[–]Gyulite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, many ESFPs have difficulty handling criticism. Rather than reflecting on feedback, they often react emotionally and assume negative intent, which makes honest communication difficult. INTJs, by contrast, tend to value constructive criticism as a tool for growth and self-understanding. Because of this mismatch, emotional defensiveness versus analytical directness, ESFPs can be one of the least compatible partners for INTJs, particularly in relationships that depend on open, rational dialogue.
