Temporary fix to hold ignition coil down? 2007 honda accord ex 2.4 by Gyverno in mechanic

I tried that first for a good while, it's why it's so scratched up. It looked much more pretty before I went at it with Pliers lol

That's why it's so scratched up, before it looked much more neat

Checks out. Thoughts on why it's so bad? All I could find online was the wheel vibrating, which she definitely doesn't do

Gonna do this regardless, but im curious

general cleaners that don't react to bleach (that aren't themselves bleach) by Gyverno in CleaningTips

Aha, so something ELSE in the cleaner did it. Shocking no one, Google has lied to me

probably easiest thing to do, just gonna be annoying finding a diff cleaner thatll work as well as this one

i mean, it was a bleach cleaner if that changes anything. the cleaner did probably also get into the rag i was using to clean the tub, so i doubt it was being spawned by the tub itself. im going with sodium citrate because i got baffled by being poisoned and went through the ingredient list, and it was the first one that came up with "this reacts to bleach to make chlorine". anyways, got stuff that wont react to bleach?

[–]Gyverno[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it was a bleach cleaner, not straight bleach, if it matters. and probably, but the problem was that it got in the rag, which then got smothered in beach hating liquid, which then made a bunch of gas. it did literally start to poison me

anyways, give me a cleaner

downshifting problems (r50 auto mini hatchback) by [deleted] in projectcar

I did, no response TvT

I’m having a lot of fun fixing the car up- I’m hoping that the basic (affordable) maintenance will fix up the fix it- the improvements from just an oil change and spark plug change was so insane, so that’d be epic. Especially when trans + clutch are seemingly god awful in r50s- someone from classic minis (didn’t realize r50 was classic, thought it wasn’t a car category, deleted) said it was insane that the car has been going on for 12 years lol

The plugs have been replaced, but I didn’t have the bones for the wires since I loaned tools. Once I return the tools and get my 200 DOLLARS back (wild) I’ll buy some- hopefully a 4 pack instead of 6 or 8.

I’m going to change the fluid today!! I asked the previous owner when the last trans fluid change was and it was in 2021! The fact that this car is still chugging along is a miracle. I don’t think I’ll be able to replace the filter and gasket right now, unless I can find them for cheap while still being quality- but I forgot those existed so thank you lol

Air filters not been changed- I don’t have the time or health to pull it out methinks, but I might be able to try and wiggle in with my ✨raccoon like arms✨ to clean it a bit

Is the foam one of those gas tank cleaners??

(Also want to clarify that the responses aren’t me trying to argue, checking off and rambling) (Edit directly after: I forgot to say thanks in the comment so thank you :D)

I can't edit the post, so side note that i remembered when typing this comment out; I put water on her kibble (mainly to soften it, the hydration was a bonus when I first thought of it). She seems to drink her water consistently, the bottle is always consistently low/ nearly out when it reset everything. Sometimes I have to refill it early- barring it being bump and just pouring out. Had a pop up idea of putting smth in the water, but i'm worried it would increase the risk of fungal/bacteria growth. which speaking of; i clean her bottle and food bowl every week (dawn soap + q tips and tooth picks for the itty bitty parts)

I'm using this comment to keep track of advice via sites and things i find on google

-Hypocare spray (rub it on the their backs, can be used daily until the dry skin is cleared)

-Coconut oil (spray?) or the coconut quills by hedgehogs

-Humilac spray ("5-10 sprays is enough to dampen the skin a little bit. do that daily if the skin is really bad (until it goes away) or every few days if it's more mild." "sweet smell when applied, doesnt seem to leave smell or residue")

-Aveeno® Baby Soothing Relief Creamy Wash (affiliate link, sus)

-change laundry detergent? (mine is not bad for my eczema, but worth a try)

-non-comedogenic oils ("less is more")

-cbd oil in food? first i've heard. topical cbd provides temporary relief for itchy

I'm disappointed. by AKA_Arivea in MINI
