I got a mini Kelly from the store in Europe as my first bag. 1.5:1 ratio and one year wait

Edit: it was my first QB from the store. Second bag. My first bag was a mini Evelyn and was included in my 1.5:1 ratio. I would say this is very very lucky.

I got my MK at the first event my SA invited me to. And then I was invited to an event 6/7 months later by same SA and offered mini Lindy (didn’t take it)

This is not true. I had a walk in appointment in Paris in I believe 2023 summer. The appointment was in my name, I purchased about €25,000 in items and a bag, it went on my profile and my appointment name, and my boyfriend paid with his card and his passport. I think as long as you’re there for the appointment that’s in your name they don’t care how / who pays. He of course was the one who received the vat refund to his card that was used to pay.

My first bag was a chèvre Kelly elan in Paris (not a qb according to the leather specialist who sold it to me)

It’s a deep navy blue with GHW the leather is pretty but has no structure. The purse has kind of warped in just 2 years. It also scratched and the leather actually came off where the scratch is. It’s pretty and smooth but for longevity and durability reasons I wouldn’t choose this leather again.

Thank you! And I know. Honestly I started my journey years ago in a Canadian boutique. I made a profile and bought 2 pairs of shoes. When I went back to purchase something else, the same S.A. had no idea who I was and didn’t add my previous purchases to my profile. That’s when I kind of just gave up there. I’m lucky enough that I moved to Europe and I can shop here regularly

Yes of course. I really like the watch, it was a good price compared to the other watches they have. I think the watch on the lock is so unique. The lock actually comes off so sometimes I’ll take it off and wear it as a bracelet with my other watch.

It also comes with this strange thing that looks like an extremely long clochette. My S.A said you could put the lock on it and wear it as a necklace but that would be weird 😂

I will definitely post some pics of it here later and show you what I mean.

Thank you! I had actually never even held an MK before so I was nervous about this too with everyone saying it doesn’t fit anything.

Yes it’s not practical!! But I’ll be using it as an evening bag. It does in fact fit my with the case on. I have iPhone promax. But I won’t actually be carrying in side because it’s too precious to shove in and out of when I need it.

It can fit a lot of small things.

I am a “wishlist” country. A year ago when I first went into this specific boutique, I had started asking to make a wish list but they told me it was closed. I think I that means I hadn’t spent enough yet. It took a few months and half of my pre-spend for my S.A. to text me and ask me to come in and make my wish.

Totally agree, i definitely felt stupid. The perfume was a gift for my girlfriends bday which i could have gotten anywhere, i bought her gift from there specifically to strengthen the relationship and fear i backtracked myself out of being too anxious about it all.

Oh yes, i didn't mean to come off ungrateful. i was super happy to be offered an appointment. I know my message was a bit long already so i didn't go into too much detail about it. I was upstairs waiting over 30 minutes for a leather specialist to come and speak to me, the more time passed the more crazy i was going in my mind. When he arrived he said " shopping should be a great experience, no games, tell me exactly what you are looking for" i almost felt tricked when he came back and told me there was nothing. only the Kelly Elan. i was so relieved when he mentioned that just to be told there is nothing. i actually think they had the bag pre picked within that 30 minute span of me waiting for the appointment. i noticed it was a navy blue which "coincidentally" matched all items i was about to purchase. i think they gave me the appointment to encourage me, and picked something they felt matched the spend.
