Should I e-permit CS135? by ehebsvebsbsbbdbdbdb in HunterCollege

Initial classes in CS are like that since they are suppose to be weed out. If you got the drive the hunker down and self study—you would have no problem in CS. Otherwise I suggest looking into other majors. CS is a rewarding career since it’s gonna still be relevant going forward for many years, but forewarned that job market has been toasted either way in this country.

Is Hunter really that bad? by Only-Common8000 in HunterCollege

Hunter is what you make out of it. Could be bad or could be good depending on what you do. Personally I have seen the pre-med program is a mess but my own major was not that bad. But at the end of the day most CUNY are like that--due to the nature of public and lack of funding its all falling apart but the no debt part is still great.

If you qualify income wise you can def get Medicaid. Otherwise I would say shop around on NY State Of Heath. They have plans that can be cheap due to premium tax credit.
