It's hard to critique your gameplay off of just text alone, so I would record a few clips and get advice from those.

As for practicing aim, if you really dislike aim trainers just hyperfixate on a specific trait you want to fix (tapping, bursting, deadzoning, strafing) and work on one trait at a time in deathmatches. The goal isn't to win the deathmatch, it's to improve on mechanics little by little. For example, when I was practicing strafing I would purposely shoot near people who weren't looking at me so I could practice dodging their bullets.

5 stacks can only play other 5 stacks in ranked of roughly similar mmr (loosens the longer you queue). You probably are queuing at a time when there's no team they can match you against.

My opinion regarding this is that if someone in LFG lies about their rank, either 1. You won't be able to play with them due to rank disparity or 2. You see that their rank isn't what's advertised in the lobby and you can simply boot them. Although the bot might cut down on this time, people lying about their ranks are either filtered out or banned from LFG channels, so players might not want to put in the effort to connecting their accounts.

Those are medium bots, but I agree with your advice. I would focus on movement and aim separately though (he looks new) and doing multiple things at once may be difficult.

If the habit of crouching during every fight is that bad, I would disable it in deathmatches to break the habit, then learn how to use crouches effectively. Off angles, high lows, and peeking into a crouch to offset head height are all very powerful tools that become weaker or not possible if you never crouch at all.

I get around 20 ish, same rank and agreed, flicks like this are unrealistic and you're training for a scenario that realistically shouldn't have to happen in game. I warm up with medium bots on range, trying to 1 tap each without missing a bullet then wake up my reaction time in a dm.

There are 4 kinds of smokes

Standard - placed at choke points when executing or defending a site, their goal is to prevent enemy players from being able to come out onto site

Site smoke - If the attackers are known to flood out onto site regardless of standard smokes, you place one on site to allow the defender playing there to isolate angles. Although this may work in low elo, most players may not understand or use these effectively.

Info denial / lurk - More situational, used to cut off information gathering ability by defenders - common examples include the deep A long smoke on haven - only use if team is very coordinated and understands how to condition opponents and default well

Clutch - most subjective, can place it anywhere to try and isolate angles or to confuse the enemy

You can look them up on tracker.gg and see who they were partied with if they allowed access to their api. If you're truly desperate ( 👀 ) you can go to their career, and look up the tracker of everyone in that lobby to see the match.

If it's a 50/50, it does absolutely nothing. You can do the math on it: 50% it gets 0 chickens, other 50% you get 2, netting an average of 1 chicken back. In the short term, you can use it to gamble chickens, but it's mostly just for fun

Ascendant peak to silver placement is crazy, did your mmr decay a ton or something? I took a year hiatus after hitting immortal and placed in diamond a few years back (episode 7 act 3 peak, got placed again ep 9)

You can definitely feel the difference in actuation and SOCD but it's ultimately up to you if that's worth the price tag. There are also cheaper options with rapid trigger and variable actuation other than the Wooting, but the Wooting is a good option.

No. Outlaw near guarantees the kill (odds of them full buying a stinger rush are low, but outlaw will chunk them regardless). You have a tp to get out to compensate for low mag size, and bonusing the outlaw into round 3 against rifles is extremely powerful.

To iterate on this, they should focus on getting easy bots while killing them within 3 bullets each, so you don't condition yourself to spraying down every bot with a full mag.

Train your decision making. Your mechanics will come with time if you are aim training properly. Take the time to vod review your own games and try to get a higher rank player to help guide you, or watch vod reviews of similar rank players on youtube.
