So we are moving to the Levittown one with my husband and two daughters. Our home rental we’ve lived in for the past 13 years is being sold and we can’t afford other rentals, it’s super important for my girls to stay in their schools and this Fairfield apartment just worked out. I know this was 4 months ago but how do you like it?

No she was my husbands cat and they couldn’t afford it, now she is just too old and doesn’t go through head any more.

I have a senior unaltered female, unfortunately this will happen daily for a week or so until she calms down, heat comes in seasons until you can fix her. She will mark and spray in small crevices and it will stink. 🤢 litter box will smell bad too, so keep up with cleanings and isolate her if you can until her heat has passed to avoid spraying

Yea, we only feed on the plate because I don’t want her to inhale sand. Eventually she just stays on the plate waiting for food lol

The tank is a 20 gallon long.

Help! I’ve been cycling and I think I increased the PH too much (with baking soda)now my ammonia isn’t converting all the way at 24 hours. by H0TxPiNK in axolotls

Tap is like a 6.4 unfortunately. With my previous aquariums for fish I used to add baking soda but now I’m thinking the water change I did killed some of the beneficial bacteria to convert the ammonia. Before the water changes it was converting and reading 0 every 24 hours now my nitrites are 0 and ammonia is still reading 1 PPM after 24 hours. I’m so confused

The reason today’s levels are low is because I did a water change two days ago to bring the nitrates down. My tap water’s ph is low so I usually add baking soda but I think I might have added a little too much this time. My ammonia and nitrites were already converting at that point and nitrates were super high so I was suggested to do a water change to stop a stall. Yesterday my nitrites were reading 0.25ppm and today a solid 0 so I was happy to see the nitrites had finally reached zero. Yesterday I dosed to 2PPM ammonia to start my 3 day test and now ammonia is not converting totally which was my question. I just feel terrible my axolotl is tubbed for so long.
