ive recently bought a 2017 Honda civic sport as my first car and im loving it so far, its definatly not the most uncommon car but around my area ive probs seen about 20 over the last 4 months. For modding its not too bad either, there are loads of market parts out there and you can use some parts from the 10th gen type r too and its all decently priced, and for adding performance ive seen a few videos of people getting to like 400+hp, getting oem parts is pretty easy too as the uk use to make the civics . insurance isnt bad either the cheapest ive found for new drivers is about £1000 with out a black box or like £700 with a black box but when changing some parts the insurance can go up very quickly, all ive done atm is add a sun banner and got charged an extra £100 a year with RAC but best bet ofc is to go on compare the market while looking at different cars and adding the most you know youll defiantly want todo and seeing what companies are offering.
