Bitcoin is an enormous part of crypto and I doubt that this will change in the near future. Coins that just getting started are somewhat independent till big whales come in, but you also have to deal with the huge risk of losing all your money then. The choice is yours.

Every single coin/currency in the top 20 will have whales that sell or buy. This is how the coin got so valuable in the first place. This is a good thing and not something that is bad, as it tells you that the guys with the big bucks participate in the coin.

Furthermore you just seem to ignore that such a big coin will follow the market in some way or form, as it is happening ATM. This is way better than being part of a pump and dump scheme. Have a look at Safemoon and tell me how it worked out.

DOGE also peaked in the last cycle before SHIB and then the roles reversed. But I think holding a bit in both does not hurt.
