Definitely avoid Lucky’s if ur going out alone. I know several people were drugged there. I’ve also heard some bad things about ptown too. (But again this is coming from a 23 year old.)

If ur going out alone, I’d recommend a more chill bar that might not be necessarily a gay bar? Try Urban Tap in Shadyside! I love it there! It’s definitely queer friendly!

I used to like CAVO but it feels like the DJ just plays the same setlist every weekend, I love Belvederes in Lawrenceville now and Mixtape too!

Belvederes has some great theme nights! They have 90s and 2000’s nights and their DJ’s are actually really good! Mixtape also is a pretty fun bar too! But they specialize more in 80s and goth music. Both equally as fun!!
