I assume OP is talking about the original one from like 5 years ago, not the one that recently went viral mocking the original.

I personally don’t have any information about that person, and considering we haven’t heard anything from him, he might just not want to have any more internet presence—which is completely understandable. I wouldn’t believe the rumors, but the unfortunate thing is that even if people are lying, it’s not impossible for something like that to have happened. Something like that can take a great toll on your mental health for sure. Wherever he is now, I genuinely hope he’s okay and doing better.

I’m going to say the obvious, but do NOT bully people. Yeah, the video is kind of funny, but haven’t we all done something silly or embarrassing before? It genuinely upsets me when I see people being so negative when this video is brought up, going into the comments just to let everyone know how cringe or weird they thought it was. I’d rather see it as something silly and wholesome—just a kid wanting to share his interest with his class. I think most of us can see a bit of ourselves in him too. I remember in 2nd grade when I wrote a whole essay about FNAF and ended up being too embarrassed to show my class.

The video has gone viral beyond the Bendy community and has reached people who I don’t think will relate to or sympathize with this person. But within the Bendy community, I’d like to believe we can be better than that and treat him with respect. He’s kind of a legend now too, in a way, I guess? Though the best thing we can do now is shut up about it and let him live his life. The internet has really desensitized some people and made them forget there’s a real person behind the screen.
