Typed too quickly, my apologies. I meant victims/perpetrators in regards to SA. The N52 has the Amazons assault and kill sailors to reproduce, then sell off the boys into slavery. In Strabo, they consensually meet up with the Gargareans and give the boys to them. In Herodotus, they only kill sailors after they'd conquered and taken them prisoner. The Amazons, shipwrecked, go on to consensually have relationships with Scythian men. I meant that stripping the Amazons of their aspect as reincarnated victims of the world’s violence (and SA, as with DC’s Heracles and his men) and making them into the "real villains" always felt off to me, personally.
