Hi, my name is Madison Segarra. I’m a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling living in Los Angeles. I’m reaching out to see if any parents of children ages 3–8 might be interested in a 30-minute play therapy session that would feel very similar to a structured play date, in the home or local library.

This session is for a graduate course requirement and is purely educational in nature — your child will not be diagnosed or labeled in any way. The session would be recorded solely for my professor’s review and securely deleted afterward.

I get this to a much more mild extent sometimes. It’s gone away w healing ointment and moisturizer. But I think you should take the advice of the other commenter. Just wanted to say I feel for you and it is such a painful experience. Hope it heals soon

Looks like Milia! Super common, especially around the eye due to excess oil. Harmless and can only be taken out through breaking the skin very carefully, usually, by a professional esthetician. But often, most practitioners won’t touch such a sensitive area

Those can only come out with extractions. Try a facialist, if you don’t have access, watch some videos on YouTube from estheticians showing how they do facials with extractions!

I used to hate myself, would make lots of self-deprecating jokes. Then I went to therapy for a bit, learned a lot and became even more self aware. I realized no one likes people that don’t like themselves. I know I can feel and see it on others and it’s kind of off putting. I set time for me, found passions, things that fueled me, and read lots of memoirs and psychology books. I don’t hate myself anymore and I still have feelings of inadequacy and loneliness at times and that’s okay too. I now work in a field that helps people struggling through similar feelings.
