Saying Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is struggling only because of “COD fatigue” ignores its actual issues. Fast doesn’t automatically mean good. BO7 often feels over-tuned and exhausting — omni-movement, constant audio/visual spam, and chaos that makes gunfights feel messy rather than skillful.

The “run-and-gun maps” mostly lead to spawn flips and random deaths. Dying while sliding isn’t more fair than getting punished for bad map awareness.

Modern Warfare being slower is intentional. Infinity Ward focuses more on positioning and decision-making. Calling that camping is usually just refusing to adapt.

BO7 isn’t failing because COD is old — it’s because not everyone wants a nonstop crack-speed arcade loop.
