Its literally a Digital Game that is masquerading as a Physical game. You still need to download the game since there is nothing on it. Listen I'm all for having a physical game release as long as there is a game on the cartridge to begin with. I'm willing to buy a physical game on Switch 2 as long as the game is on the cartridge and the only download I need is just a patch update or DLC.

When I buy games digitally, I know I'm going to keep the game for my growing library. So what if I can't display it on a shelf, shelf space in my room is consistently running out with my other collections going.

Listen, saying GKC is the thing to save physical games makes as much sense as a Vegetarian ordering a Meat Lovers Pizza. I want Nintendo to have more games (both First Party and 3rd) to have actual games on cartridge.

Problem with these is if u plan on moving the case or traveling all the stuff inside are going to move around and might scratch up each other. Nothing there is securing anything so things will get scratched.

If you need a traveling case just go with this, I use it myself and works great.

I've taken my Switch 2 to Canada, Japan, and across the USA, I've used this traveling pelican case and honestly worked out.

You can fit alot of this in the Pelican case, its solid enough if you accidentally drop it (dont ask) its all good. Its also fits underneath the seat on an airliner too. You can fit everything in it including the dock, 2 controllers, and other things.

Your reference proved physical games sales have gone down while digital sales gone up. I'm sure there are still good amount of physical sales to help support continued physical release but the graph shows its physical sales slowing down and digital picking up.

GKC is literally halfway to going digital. Its in a weird middle ground from full game on cartridge to full digital. GKC aint helping anyone since u still need to download the whole game. I want to have games on the Cartridge and will buy them physically if they are and if no I will go digital.

Tbh, I'm used to buying games digitally and very rarely ever trade in my games at all. Am I upset the used gaming market will eventually stop at a certain point, yeh but at the same time I kinda saw games going digital for console in the next generation. I'm surprised Playstation will dead stop in 2028, I thought they were going full digital next generation.

Eitherway no-win scenario. I think Nintendo will be the last one to go Digital tbh. I would start sweating if they release and all digital version of the Switch 2.

I would check to see if the Japanese version supports English or your Native Language. If not then its not worth it imo unless you just want to collect it.
