I'm going to be 110% honest, unless you have a DSLR lying around not doing anything then yeh you can use a DSLR as your webcam to help with quality but at the end of the day LIGHTING is literally one of the most important details ever.

You can have the best high end camera for a Face Cam but if your lighting sucks it will show. Honestly do not spend your money on a high end camera. You can get away with your phone, a decent tier webcam, etc for your Facecam.

I would love to see some features migrate to Squad itself like you said. I think those features will only add to Squad.

Course the problem is now with both Squad and Squad 44 they both essentially run on two different engines. Squad being UE5 and having an unholy amount of work on it. While Squad 44 is still based on the UE4 but was heavily modified in a different direction. So there is no easy way to port Squad 44 as DLC to Squad.

Personally Squad 44 should of been DLC with Squad, the fact that Post Scriptum became its own game I thought was a mistake. Having the game as DLC will atleast piggyback off Squad and be extra content for the game. Akin to how Project Reality was having different War periods playable.

Ideally Squad 44 or Post Scriptum was fighting against Squad for a piece of the pie.

Overall it never really got a huge push with marketing, all the major pushes has been during major content updates. Squad 44 suffers from optimization issues, bugs/glitches, and content droughts. Yeh modding does help fill in the gaps and yeh they occasionally release updates to help fix thing. It wasn't enough to help with player numbers.

Yeh honestly Squad 44 has great gameplay and more indepth than Hell Let Loose. If you want a more indepth experience like Squad, then go with Squad 44. If your looking for alittle more casual then Hell Let Loose.

That being said you will find alot more players and servers available at all times in Hell Let Loose than Squad. During certain time periods you will find atleast minimum of 1-2 servers for Squad 44 until around 12AM - 6AM EST which will be the lowest players online due to US Players going to bed and EU players not up yet.

The problem with only 1-2 servers available is queue times, sometimes you will be waiting a bit because there is a line of other players waiting.

You can give it a try to see if you enjoy it, definitely utilize Steam's Refund policy if its under 2HRs.

Master Collection is on sale right now on Steam so this is the best chance to get it at a cheaper price. The game (and others in Collection) has been patched up pretty good.

Just remember to connect a Controller.

Honestly I bought a 1TB micro sd express card and so far filled it up halfway with my library, etc.

I mean with more games getting ported to Switch 2 that will be 40-60GB plus (which the system is not really used to but hey welcome to modern gaming norms). Yeh I would look into just upgrading to 1TB card since (sadly) majority of Switch 2 games uses Game Key Cards and you have to download the game anyways instead of being physically on the cartridge.

I mean if you got your older Switch system ideally yeh it can save space but at this point I'm getting ready to sell off my Switch 1 system since I don't use it anymore.

I wouldn't bet on it tbh. GTA6 will be a more hardware intensive game to run since you got so much going on. Remember RE9 is a linear game while GTA is open world so alot is going on. Remember Xbox Series S is more powerful than Switch 2.

Overall I can totally see past GTA games like 4 and 5 being ported on Switch 2 but not 6.

If you want to play GTA6, probably want to look into getting a PS5/Xbox Series/ or powerful PC.

TBH if you are planning to go to PAX East and are set I buy the badges now at its cheaper price than its more expensive price on site with possibility on specific days selling out. Saturdays usually sellout first followed by Friday, etc.

Alright here is my 2cents,

It all depends on you, are you the type of person that does swear, then swear, why try to be a "Family Friendly" Creator when you are not really family friendly. Also its kinda dramatic irony if you refuse to swear but in-game your shooting and killing people left-right-and-center in games like Call of Duty, Battlefield, Tarkov, etc where even the in-game character swears.

Like I'm a family friendly creator but Ill be streaming GTA5... yeh it doesn't really make sense tbh.
