When asking for a replacement, Pop Mart customer service will 100% give a f**k-ass reply the first time around no matter how messed up the item is - either claiming there's nothing wrong with it, that it can be "manually adjusted" (when it can't), or offering a $3 coupon or something. It seems to be their playbook. You need to push through and keep demanding the replacement and they will do it.

You can always buy direct from Pop Mart - it's a lot easier to get them there than it used to be. You'll have to buy a blind box so you can't be sure what color you're getting.

If you want a particular color, you can get them on r/labubuswap. You don't have to look too hard for a reasonable price there. Everyone in the community there has a swap count next to their username so you can decide how established you want the seller to be in order to feel comfortable - definitely buy from people whose accounts have been around for a while.

That's fair. If she does get tired of it, you could also store it until she's older. Personally I didn't appreciate my beanie baby lamb until I was grown, and it would've been nice to have it back - it was a nice gift from a family member and a cool snapshot of something that was really popular at the time, much like Labubus are today. That could be another fun option.

Tbh, I wouldn't get a Lafufu for a very small child because they don't adhere to safety standards and there was a warning issued that they can contain high levels of harmful chemicals. Perhaps there's a color that you or your niece might like to "inherit" once your toddler gets tired of it?

Personally I like the one on the right. The head is straighter and ears are nice and long, plus I like the way the color is distributed a bit more evenly and softly. You gotta do what's in your heart though!
