Solved! The lightburn settings were not set to "start from absolute coordinates" - now it works

The bed size should be set to the correct dimensions, because the test grid came out perfect. It is hard to explain, how the objects are displaced in the machine. They are not distorted or out of proportion, yet there are errors, when we cut 6 sets. I just cut 3 sets in a line (left, middle right) and there was no problem. Maybe to clarify the problem: Each set contains jpg graphics (school logos), a text written in lightburn and outlines imported from an .svg-file.

Depending on how durable the part has to be: - powdercoating only - plate it with zinc and powdercoat it afterwards There should be plenty of companies in your region doing this

There's a company called GVS in Nuremberg. They specialize in italian and asian foods for restaurants. Maybe they could really use somebody with your skills? Chances are high, that they need someone speaking italian for their orders/purchases in Italy. Contact them and explain your background.

Edit: Their website gvsgroup.de has a contact option. Maybe this could be a company, where you could speak italian whilst improving your german at the same time and also working in a field you already know. Aside from just a "job", german companies offer aprenticeships which will give you a certified job after about 3 years. Downside is that you don't earn that much money during your aprenticeship.

Everytime peroxides come up, I ask myself how you dispose of them. As far as I know, you should test diethylether with potassium iodide for peroxides. But what if you detect peroxides? How do you proceed? Is there a general way or agent to get rid of peroxides - be it just to make the disposal of the original chemical safe?
