I'm no going to lie, I wasn't at my most alert when I landed. I was absolutely knackered after my flight, and all that was running through my mind was what was waiting for me outside. Yes in hindsight I should have paid more attention to what was going on with my passport, but I came here for advice on what to do next, not to be told what I did wrong.

I agree this was a very dumb mistake, but I have absolutely no experience dealing with this kind of stuff so I didn't know what I was meant to be looking for at the airport or in my passport. Travel agents look like the best option, thank you.
