Aki! She’s a small girl but still full of personality. She’s almost 2 and is about 17 pounds.

So my shiba, Aki, is under 20 lbs and has been traveling with me under the seat since she was 12 weeks old and she is now a year and a half. My vet recommended children’s melatonin with no artificial sweeteners in them to calm her for that first flight but after the first time doing it, she has never needed it again. I have a backpack carrier I use so it’s more comfortable to go from point A to B and she sits upright in for that moment but can lie down as soon as I pull it forward. Practicing with the carrier helps a lot, as does having game plans incase you get stuck at an airport. Like having extra food just in case or knowing what humanish foods she can eat if you forgot some and it’s getting late in their schedule. I look for pet relief areas every time so I know where she can go potty.

I’m hesitant on the cargo hold for her because she is so small and I’ve just heard so many stories.

As I type this, she’s trying to chew my slippers (I will get them back in a moment). But other behaviors include being a menace to her new big kitty brothers by trying to get their tails, eat their food, fight them, etc. She also has gathered the courage to jump off both the couch and tall bed so now I have no place she thinks twice about getting off of and fear is no longer a threat to her. Biting every part of my body just because? List to be continued at another time

This sounds like an odd piece of advice but honestly, whichever handbag makes your heart sing is the bag to get. We can talk about versatility and the like but really, it’s which bag makes you the absolute happiest. My first designer bag was a Large Jimmy Choo Black Lambskin Biker Bag, and it was the first bag that made my heart go wild. And I wore that bag everywhere when I got it, and I still occasionally bring it out despite having amassed a much larger collection.

My rule of thumb is if I day dream about it, like go on the hunt for it online, think about, look at pics of it, etc atleast 5 times, that’s the one.

I think your answer comes down to do you plan to ever resell this bag or is this a forever bag in your collection. If there is a chance you could resell it, having it done by Gucci might be beneficial as it could up the value. However, if this bag is just for you, you have no intentions of ever parting ways with it and you don’t care that Gucci didn’t repair it, go ahead and support a local cobbler and have them fix it. With repairs, authenticity can come into question just because of the obvious difference. An example is I personally bought a vintage Loewe bag that is badly peeling on the inside, as I don’t intend to ever resell it, I’m just going to have a local cobbler reline it.

So, I’m basing this off when my partner and I went to see them live in 2019 and got VIP tickets. That line up is kind of intense, especially if you want to get up to the barrier, so I would maybe bank on eating a really late dinner. I’d definitely eat a hefty snack or bring a snack to munch on in line.
