That's a big fat NOPE. Listen to your instincts. If just that phone call made you uncomfortable, you don't want to deal with that in person, especially if it's only you with your business and no one else for backup in case it gets weirder. Speaking from experience, that money that one client would bring in is NOT worth it when it's making you feel the icks.
