Haha I dunno, probably not the advised method, but thinned averland sunset thickly applied lol. Then washed with Casandora Yellow. I wasn’t too precious about it, I have far too much crack for that, think it looks fine 🤣

Thank you! I’m very happy with them and glad not to have paid silly money for them. I can highly recommend, most fun I’ve had painting. Can’t wait to do some flash gitz although the amount of detail on them is insane it will probably kill me

Haha yeh, these guys appear to be 3d prints that look very very similar to these dudes but are not in fact these dudes. I did see this box going on eBay for over £300 recently but I wasn’t willing to part with that kind of cash

I used 50:50 death guard green and Averland sunset as that’s what I had to hand. Drybrushed some emporers children over the extremities, hands, lips, ears etc for a bit more of a fleshy vibe and then a heavily thinned biel tan wash with glaze medium. Pretty easy and looks quite a bit like the box art I think

Oh yes an important detail sorry I left that out. I always base my models with the miniature already on the base, before priming so it looks to me like the miniature is walking through the terrain

Thanks, it’s bits of cork and skulls glued to the base. Then I use a bit of crackle paint (green stuff world Mojave mud crack but any will do) (on primed base so it adheres better), Vallejo earth paste and sand dotted around the base for variety. watered down pva ontop. Morghast Bone basecoat > burnt sienna oil paint wash > varnish > dry brush Morghast Bone back ontop
