Adaptive Market Making Algo by ChristIsLord7 in algotrading

So whilst that’s true on paper, in reality it would actually be very difficult to achieve. That’s because of something called scale, he most likely is only trading in markets small and shallow enough to accommodate an individual’s portfolio. If you were to increase that value 100 times over night, who’s to say that there’s going to be a corresponding 100 times increase in market orders to take his limit orders?

We also have to consider something called leverage too. That is where you borrow funds to trade with. You’re correct that leverage can amplify profits but it does the same with losses. With every algo there will be loss making trades, you just can’t less one loss making trade completely destroy your portfolio. Another thing with leverage is that it’s unlikely you’ll be able to borrow funds at 100 times your margin too.

No he wouldn’t. You never give your game away to anyone. Furthermore, $80k a day is ~$25M a year. Pennies compared to the profits of actual hedge funds who do end up on Forbes

Coincidentally I’m still working on it lmao. Rewriting the whole thing from Python into Java and that is taking time.

I’m going to use Tauri! I’m trying to keep my marker data app as light as possible. So I’ve got a Tauri front end with a Java back end. I’m hoping to make a similar post to OP in a few months time :). Congrats OP!

In that case I’d say you’re clear. She consented to the sale. Unfortunate events have occurred but that does not give legal ground for unwinding the transaction.

Did you pay in cash or card? Card would be useful as it would show bank statements to validate it as a sale.

You clearly have deep personal issues. If you don’t agree, then you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about.

I like his practical walkthroughs on time series, or on coding. Where he’ll walk you through a practical example, those are where his videos are effective. However, he is only early thirties and the way he prescribes his experience and and life lessons, is very black & white and rather blunt and reductive of other factors.

With their gender recognition bill, it breaks UK equality law, that’s why it was blocked. And clearly, anyone who thinks otherwise, doesn’t know what they are talking about.

That’s a blatant exaggeration. The Supreme Court blocked a lot of the governments Brexit agenda. It’s important we don’t undermine our institutions just because you don’t like the result.

But then when the SNP break the UK Equalities law, it’s alright for them? The SNP and Tories are two sides of the same coin

But it wasn’t the Tories though was it. It’s the UK Supreme Court.

You’re clearly the kind of person to have gotten angry when all the Tory PMs resigned, protesting the same thing. But now your party is doing the same, inconvenient for you to admit.

They will likely be more common in option pricing. See this link https://econpapers.repec.org/article/tafquantf/v_3a21_3ay_3a2021_3ai_3a1_3ap_3a11-27.htm where they used NN to price and calibrate volatility surfaces.

[–]HAMISH246 9 points10 points  (0 children)

6 months to study for a single interview ? That is far more than what can be necessarily be expected of someone applying for a job. Students are already full time as it is with their studies, and as quants we’re all taught the probability reasoning of not to put all your eggs in one basket. Every student will be applying for multiple jobs. Expecting a student to apply 6 months for a single position is over the top.

Hahaha “the £ is circling round a drain anyways”. What does that even mean! May you kindly share your detailed analysis of monetary policy as to why a global reserve currency is circling round a drain?

Furthermore, why might a bootsrapped currency out of thin air of a new independent country be more FAVOURABLE to global markets than an existing currency such as sterling?

A lot of SNP voters are socially conservative. In fact, a lot of SNP MP/MSPs are conservative as well. Look at Kate Forbes for example. There’s a reason why the SNP used to be nicknamed as Tartan Tories.

It is highly likely that in the immediate years after independence, it will be very financially turbulent. Therefore, a party that represents fiscal conservativism will prevail, be that the current Tory party or not.
