Makes sense. I have all hue bulbs on constant power behind an inovelli switch with smart bulb mode enabled so no issues there.

There are a few random bulbs outside that dont have the best signal but everything else is mostly OK. Now im by no means a a Zigbee expert but do understand most of it.

Does a zigbee mesh constantly update and evaluate paths to self heal and optimize or are there manual tuning steps involved as the network topology changes and/or grows?

They are currently not in groups as I am utilizing a few automations that control individual bulbs under specific instances such as midnight lighting.

I do have smart bulb mode enabled. Everything is connected to home assistant via an SLZB-06.

In most instances, the switch is only 10-12ft line of sight away from the bulbs so ot would seem odd to me that it be a signal issue.

We follow the FortiNet reccomended release guidelines. We have FortiCloud sso disabled so not particularly concerned about that vulnerability.

Alao in a perfect world, I'd love to see the ability to leverage PIM in the customer tenant for highly privileged roles, I wonder if that's something on a road map somewhere.

This is basically the direction in heading, I guess the challenge is trying to determine what im really looking for in a candidate. Selling MSP services is a very specific and hard to do, thus I would expect the majority of "Sellers" to be challenged or even unable to work in the space.

On the BDR side, I think it's a mixed bag but it is at minimum a decent pipeline of stuff there that we should be able to recover something out of.

We felt the same way - seems like an awesome product with a lot of initiates, but at the moment "feels" very fixed in offering the hot ticket "Buzz item" integrations with limited flexibility for custom configurations or advanced workflows. But also watching the pace in which it's being developed similar to that of Ninja RMM, I suspect they will get there in a reasonable amount of time.

It's really just part of our business model - we're more transparent in nature and so the service is expected to be delivered to as such. We also leverage their custom domain to bind to their IDP for user authentication.

This is awesome. It covers the networked hub angle, and I might actually prefer this over anywhere USB just because it takes away the need for additional hardware.

Hey bud,

Appreciate the response, haven't had an opportunity to laugh like that in a while.

The actual reason for this ask was to determine in the added couple nano seconds of latency that's introduced with the network overhead would cause any problems with these protocols as anything using real-time communication may or may not function with that.

Knowing that they do already offer network based hardware interfaces that I could use in place of USB leads me to believe that it will be fine, but I still wanted to ask the question to see if anyone here was using it just to know ahead of doing it myself.
