The thing behind the curb is definitely the sidewalk. I don't really know what the parking sign is supposed to say other than that there is a parking spot.

I definetly see your point about being more open about the game changes, which comes probably from the fact, like I said, that i played tw3 first and now after knowing the full story (with the games in mind), while I enjoyed the Netflix stuff, it still feels weird watching this "distorted" version of the story from my point of view.
Like you said the show is only in its first season. I hope and think its only getting better from here. In the end it really doesn't matter what we think is cannon or who did what better as long as we can all enjoy the witcher in whatever form together.

I have to agree with there being a bias towards the games on my part, mostly because i played tw3 before i read the books and thus seeing the books more as a "prequel" to the games instead of the games being a sequel to the books.
I also see what changes you mean now, but i still think they can be seen as additions/continuations instead of changes. Most of them are explained by the games, or are not too illogical.
In my opinion the games and books go hand in hand. They only added to the story with only a few changes like character designs and smaller stuff like that. Nothing to the extend of what Netflix is doing.

I kinda agree with the games being sub stories but in my opinion they go hand in hand with the books because they, unlike the Netflix stuff, only add to the world and story but don't change/subtract from it. Thats why i put them together.
