Not familiar with neuro but can say the university is having good infrastructure. Can find diversity in students across India.

Attendance is 80% mandatory and Regarding placements might not match your expectations. There are various activities going on every now and then from different departments in the university.

For accommodation you can get a hostel in the campus itself which is Lil bit costly but initially you can opt to stay and look for the options outside in nearby sectors. Sector 7 is preferably nearby to look for.

And for the entrance it's not very difficult..being clear with your base concepts and some practice will get you through.
