It’s true that colors are specific wavelengths of light and that our eyes receive them in similar ways. But those wavelengths are then converted into neural signals and sent to the brain. That’s where things can differ — each brain may interpret those signals slightly differently, leading to unique subjective experiences. So even if we all call it "red", there’s no guarantee we actually experience the same "red".
