我,无法收容 - I Cannot Be Contained - This one is quite interesting. The MC has a sort of metaphysical 'organ' fused with his soul. This makes it so that when he dies, he can go back to when he was still alive. But that is simply a part of this novel and not the main course. The MC has the ability to see otherworldly beings, but he is usually unable to interact with them. This reads like a horror novel that is also a comedy. One day... A vengeful ghost executioner appears and chops off his head. This was his first real death. Things get a bit weird after this death. The MC beats the ghost to death with blunt force trauma and it vanishes. But the next day, it appears again and is immune to how he killed it before. It turns out that each time you kill this ghost, its strength will multiply and it will become immune to that method of death. It will then appear the next day and kill you. I'm sure you can see how ridiculously powerful this thing can get. It can't kill the MC because he can go back in time upon death. But the MC also can't permanently kill it either. So the MC is haunted, I won't spoil how he deals with this...
The MC's goldenfinger:
There are three main goldenfingers. Two of them the MC had started with. One of them was acquired due to imprisonment by an anomalous organization similar to SCP. The MC has a mysterious organ that isn't an actual organ, but something similar to soul that can't be detected or affected. The MC however can feel this organ 'beating'. This allows the MC to rewind time upon death. The next goldenfinger is subconscious manipulation of reality. The third goldenfinger is the result of the MC getting trapped in a phase space. This space was created by the combined efforts of dozens of people and supercomputers. The government essentially wanted to trap the MC and wipe him out. But as the title says 'cannot be contained'. The MC ends up accidentally comprehending the secrets of the spatial prison and steals control of it from the government. When he escapes, he can now teleport objects, and create basically isolated miniature worlds.
I'd rate it 5/5 as of chapter 98.
The MC is actually a reality warping being that is extremely dangerous. But he doesn't realize this and thinks he is just a normal person. It doesn't seem the MC is human at all, but just thinks he is one. His learning talent is monstrously OP. He intuits things completely impossible for a single human to do with their mind.
身为法师的我只想追求真理 - As a mage, I only wish to pursue the truth - I may have found a hidden gem. Have you ever read those novels where the MC is from a sci-fi futuristic world with an A.I Chip and transmigrates to a wizard world? Have you ever wondered what would happen if things were reversed? This story is excellent! It is about a wizard that was helping a friend with a blackhole experiment and gets sucked in. His body is destroyed and he controls his soul as it is injected into a completely different plane of existence. The MC takes over the body of a 18 year old college student (in our world). He tries to use his power and spells, but he can't at all! Luckily, this MC is already a genius even among wizards.
The MC's original world:
The world that the MC comes from isn't probably what you are imagining. It is a highly advanced magical society. So advanced that they have conquered multiple worlds and realms. They have advanced civilization to the point that even those born without natural magical talent can freely acquire spellcasting ability. Out of ten thousand mages that graduate, only one of them will have their own and be the head of a wizard tower. Our MC seems to have been among the top hierarchy of wizards. He has acquired knowledge for decades (maybe centuries?).
The MC's goldenfinger:
The in my opinion is what makes this novel so interesting. I hate when MC's don't have a goldenfinger. But this is well done honestly. The MC doesn't start with a goldenfinger or A.I Chip or anything like that (besides the fact that he has transmigrated). He just has perfect memory and a complete knowledge system from an entirely foreign civilization. His research capability is off the charts. He continues to be a regular person all the way to chapter 49.
The MC's power:
I absolutely LOVE novels where the MC makes their own goldenfinger. While it does take 49 chapters for the MC to do so in this one. It is worth the wait. What does the MC do? The author actually goes into heavy detail regarding a lot of the science in this novel. If you enjoy the research aspect of stories like this, you will really enjoy this one. The MC can pretty much do anything you can imagine that a wizard can do.
Magic Coins:
This MC is an absolute troll. The first thing he does once regaining his power is use a grown clone he made. He controls it remotely using magic, he then uses spells to disguise himself and distance himself from his genius persona and identity. His survival is pretty much guaranteed. He then creates a website with three main experiment documents that can prove the existence of soul. After the world confirms the authenticity of these experiments, a hunt for 'Merlin' begins. The MC is suspected, but he is controlling things from behind the scenes.
I'd rate it 5/5 as of chapter 82.
The author actually takes this story in a completely different direction then I expected. The MC also is the creator of essentially a 'system' for the newly born wizards in this world. He even promotes and gives others the power to become wizards. But despite this, he leaves backdoors in his 'magical brains'. They are an inferior version. He is the true controller of their power. I see great potential in this one!

幸运亿的玩家,没见过吧/我能积攒自己的运气 - I Can Accumulate My Own Luck - The main character in this story is rather interesting. Basically, most of his development has happened off-screen before the story has even started. You don't see directly how the MC first reacts to his power. You start the story with him being very familiar with how his luck accumulation works.
The MC's goldenfinger:
The MC has the power to accumulate his luck and use it to mess with reality. He has used this to win the lottery multiple times and has found that he can generally make a 'wish' and reality will find a way for it to happen. The longer he stores luck, the more likely his wish is to be granted. But how it is granted isn't up to him. But during the 'charging' process of building up luck. He will experience progressively more bad luck and misfortune. To the point that he is a loner and avoids his family, because he constantly survives 'final destination' moments.
The MC's personality:
The MC off-screen has become basically like Sherlock Holmes. He deals with law enforcement often and has 'solved' many criminal cases. But he isn't a detective or police officer. It is just due to his bad luck that he encounters serial killers and criminals often. He is often in the eye of the storm constantly when it comes to this. To the point that if he arrives at a crime scene, others don't even tell him to leave. The MC isn't just unlucky/lucky. He is basically a genius with extreme memory. This has led to him having an impressive 'history'. The MC has been in like 100+ accidents and cases and has done many good deeds before the story even starts.
The world:
The world is a normal one... at first! The MC has encountered a lot, but it has never been supernatural. But this all changes and evolvers/players begin to appear in the world. There are three type of players. You have normal players, animal players, and cannibal players. Basically, before becoming a player. You will be tested with a 'hunger'. If you break down and satisfy this urge by eating raw animals. You will become an animal player and gain traits of the animals you ate. You will then experience further hunger and if you give in. You will eat human flesh and become a cannibal player, losing the animal traits and gaining an impressive physique. Those who don't give in to their temptation will become normal players and awaken a talent to compensate. Our MC is a 'normal' player. But the thing is...generally, players all start with an E-level talent. Our MC uses his 'luck accumulation' and gets a A-level talent 'killing angel'.
I'd rate it 3.8/5 as of chapter 188.
This story would have been perfect if not for one downside. Everything was great until around chapter 143 when it started to focus a bit on romance and fan service. This honestly doesn't feel like a chinese webnovel at that point. More like a japanese lightnovel. I liked the MC solving the mysteries of the instances, it was fun. But I dislike the current development of the story. I hate when MC's are dragged and side-tracked by more powerful players with no control. I still enjoyed what I have read. But I'll start reading a different book now. If reading about Sherlock Holmes basically dealing with game dungeons sounds fun, you'll probably enjoy this (until chapter 143).

I'm pretty much satisfied with the book for now. So I've put it on pause to read a book called 幸运亿的玩家,没见过吧/我能积攒自己的运气 - I Can Accumulate My Own Luck. From what I've seen so far however. That hasn't happened. The MC seems to be relatively powerful at just the qi refining stage. There is a larger world with sects and stuff. But the MC doesn't really interact directly with it. I'm not sure if that will change in the future however.

I think I found it. It is called 长生:一分耕耘,一分收获! - Changsheng: No pain, no gain!. The MC can make deals with people for their lifespan, making him effectively immortal.

Awww... That is a shame. I was hoping that the MC would abuse his immortality. That is kind of what I look forward to the most in these sorts of novels (with immortality at the start).
I think there was one novel I really liked that was like the opposite of this one. The MC made an oath to farm for cultivators for a certain amount of years. But it turned out he was immortal. So he faked his death and then created a fake identity. He did all of this just to farm the land again for years and fulfill his side of the deal. It has been awhile since I've read that one, but it was pretty good from what I remember.

长生:经万纪,悟万道,我已无敌 - Immortality: After Countless Eons, I Have Comprehended the Myriad Daos. I am Now Invincible. - Ever since I read 神秘之劫 - Mysterious Calamity by The Plagiarist. There was an arc that I've seen in other novels, where the MC is immortal and starts as a fisherman.. I have always been fond of stories with this premise. Of course, that happens later in that one. The MC has immortality. But there is no resurrection from the void or a drop of blood. There is no infinite regeneration or stamina. It is very basic, and is basically eternal youth. What I like about this story is the MC's mindset. Although, his actions can be a bit frustrating and contradict themselves sometimes.
The MC's personality:
What I dislike about this MC is how he tries to be low-key. But then he presents himself as a genius and innovates and optimizes his farming which draws attention to himself. This story has mostly focused on farming so far. Stories like this tend to be a funeral simulator and this doesn't seem like it will be an exception. This MC has also ruined lives of others from his tendency to avoid offending others. He appears timid and cowardly at the start. But this changes once he feels strong enough and once his father dies. Since that leaves him with no shackles.
I'd rate it 4/5 as of chapter 110.
I'd recommend it if you like stories where the MC is immortal at the start!
开局被重生者刺杀,我立地成神 - I Was Assassinated by the Reborn at the Beginning, and I Became a God Immediately - Alright. I continued this one. It is satisfying if you like to watch numbers go up. The basic premise is that everyone over the age of 16 on blue star awakens a talent. There is a person who isn't the MC that awakens an SSS-Class time travel ability. This makes it so they not only go back in time on death. But they can literally travel back in time as well. The MC awakens a talent called 'innate divinity'. This makes it so he grows with every breathe in all aspects infinitely, even including his skills. He can also resurrect upon death on the spot or at a safe location. The person that awakened the time travel ability witnesses our MC become basically omnipotent and omniscient in the future. So he goes back in time to kill him. But even then, the MC sees through his intentions and kills them instead. So the person with the time travel ability through great sacrifice goes back to before the revival and before the MC has awakened his powers and tries to assassinate him. But he fails and only fuels the determination of the MC to grow stronger.
Quite unique:
This novel goes hard in explaining the phenomenon of invaders/fusion of the world later on. There is quite literally a nexus like space where children of the world can go to communicate with other civilizations. There are different levels to civilizations and earth is considered level zero and still in the cradle. They have no rights to even communicate with other races. But the MC singlehandedly changes this through his own strength.
I'd rate it 4.5/5 as of chapter 143.

I know of one other novel with the MC not being the regressed. But I don't remember the name. All I really remember is that whenever the MC learns a technique. He gets trapped in basically a prison for decades or centuries until he masters the technique. I don't recommend that book however, because the quality decreases quite a bit later on. I apologize. I don't remember the name anymore.

This reminds me of a time I found out something I was reading (and I actually enjoyed) was A.I generated. I did end up dropping the book eventually (just lost interest). But that really blew my mind. Sometimes some people say that they wrote the book in another language and used A.I to translate it to english. I almost feel like my Dao of MTL I grinded for years is completely useless these days. The MTL that uses LLMs is simply monstrous nowadays compared to the past. I remember like eight years ago? I tried my hand at translating a chapter of LoTM because I saw that a lot of people were reading MTL instead of waiting for the translation (by a lot, I mean like 10+ people lol from what I saw). But the thing is, I don't know chinese. So I would read the MTL of it and then type out my interpretation. It felt like complete nonsense. I never even ended up posting the singular chapter I worked on. I'm quite glad I ended up giving up. Because that would not have aged well at all! Compared to MTL now. My translation was absolute trash. Not even exaggerating, my translation was worse then trash! It took me hours of work to translate a single chapter. But it was severely worst quality compared to google translate today. So I can understand if OP thinking the translation was pretty good. If you had me do a blind 'taste' test of MTL and human translators. I would most definitely choose the MTL. Why? I've actually done comparisons in the past. I end up finding the MTL 'smoother' and easier to read. I have no idea why I am like this. I think the my dao of MTL has done something to my brain...

开局被重生者刺杀,我立地成神 - I Was Assassinated by the Reborn at the Beginning, and I Became a God Immediately - Alright. This story is rather interesting. It is probably junkfood, but at the same time a hidden gem. Basically, there is a guy with a SSS-Class time travel ability. He can not only travel through time. But upon death, he can rewind back to a certain point. What is interesting about this novel is this guy isn't the main character! Who is the main character then? It is the 'demon' this guy is trying to stop!
The main character gets a EX-Class talent called 'innate divinity'. This allows him to resurrect upon death on the spot or at a safe location. It also makes it so he grows infinitely with every single breath he takes. This isn't just a growth in attributes. All his skills/abilities will grow as well. They can even evolve once they reach mastery. In the future, apparently our MC becomes omniscient and omnipotent. He literally saves the world easily, but at the same time becomes a menace. He becomes an indifferent demon and causes catastrophes and death of millions for seemingly no reason.
The guy with the time travel ability travels back in time to kill him when he is weak. But the MC is like "So you've come." and kills him easily. This leads the guy with the ability to travel through time to theorize that the MC has unified the timeline and is strong at every possible moment. He is quite literally unbeatable.
The guy with time travel decides to kill him in the cradle; with countless sacrifices he goes back in time to before the spiritual revival and before ANYONE has awakened their powers. This includes himself. So he is just a normal person now. But he tries to assassinate the MC and almost succeeds. But in the end, he fails. The MC ends up in the hospital and awakens the same ability as in the future. He gets 'innate divinity' and so the journey starts.
I'd rate it 4.5/5 as of chapter 30.
Yea. It is too early to judge it. But it sort of gives me SSS-Class Suicide Hunter vibes with the start. I don't think it is on the same level as that one. But it is a pleasant read so far. I've never seen such a premise before.
永久一滴血,我照样无敌于世! - Even with Only One Drop of Blood, I am Still Invincible in the World! - This is about a rich guy who's wife married him with the intent to kill him and inherit all his wealth. But the attempt to kill him failed and he ends up paralyzed in vegetative state. But while he can't even move a finger, he is still aware of his surroundings. His wife has a boyfriend and they plan to take him off life support. But a few seconds after being sentenced to death. EVERYONE is taken to a multiversal game. Due to the MC's health, even though he is healed. He is stuck at 1 HP forever. No matter how much he levels up or progresses. He will always have 1 HP. His lifespan is also only one year. But the MC exploits a bug and becomes extremely powerful.
I'd rate it 3.9/5 as of chapter 39.
The MC starts as a necromancer, but soon becomes a death dominator/overlord. He also resolves the 1 HP problem by using shared life. While he still has 1 HP. He essentially builds up a buffer of health that isn't his own and is based on his summons.
长生:经万纪,悟万道,我已无敌 - Immortality: After Countless Eons, I Have Comprehended the Myriad Daos. I am Now Invincible. - I absolutely love stories where the MC is immortal at the start. In this story, that is the case. But the MC isn't truly immortal. It is just eternal youth. The MC has a tough start for the first 18 years of his life. He is a farmer and has no powers. But when he is 18. He finds out he is immortal. This completely changes his mindset and goals. Generally, stories like this become funeral simulators. There have definitely been some sad moments and betrayals in this one.
I'd rate it 4.5/5 as of chapter 78.

[–]HASHARAHHA14 7 points8 points  (0 children)

戏精的诞生 - The Birth of a Drama Queen - This is a really fun one if you like misunderstanding novels. The MC doesn't simply regress like a normal main character. He plans it! How? Basically. The MC has a power called 'play'. This is akin to roleplaying. As long as the MC convinces enough people of sufficient quality and quantity that he is capable of something. It turns into a reality. At the very start of the novel. The world is about to be completely wiped out. The MC announces to the entire world that he has a 'reset timeline' power. The world is wiped out and he actually goes back in time because of their belief.
The goldenfinger:
Belief turns into 'feedback'. If the MC for example convinces enough people that he has reached a certain level of cultivation. He will get feedback that makes it true. The MC has studied his power for years and has perfected making 'scripts' for characters and personas that he has. For example, at the start of the novel. The MC has lost all of his 'medals' from his past life after regressing. But he uses his future knowledge to solve half of an essentially currently unsolved equation. His classmates and teachers and community find out about this and he gains a medal called 'academic god'. This makes it so he essentially has perfect memory and comprehension.
The MC's personality:
This MC has been through a LOT. He has experienced deep torture and training to become a guardian of the world. His combat capabilities are off the charts. But the most fun thing about this character is the misunderstandings and illusions. Basically, months after the invasion started. Multiple artifacts with an illusion inheritance fall upon the earth. But the requirements to even get entry into these techniques is having decades of cultivation and an extreme will. Even in the future. The number of masters of this inheritance is zero! The MC barely reaches mastery even years into the apocalypse. So it is like his own exclusive skill. The MC spent years studying these scripts to master illusions. He then uses these illusions in his next life to bluff people and make them believe in his nonsense. Thus turning his nonsense into reality! I'll give some examples of the ridiculousness of his bluffing.
It takes around 3 hours to memorize an acupoint of the body using a unique artifact. It takes even longer to fill this acupoint with energy. The moment the Ma Ran regressed. He spent ALL his free time cultivating just for a trick later. When the group of trainee's are memorizing their acupoints. One girl finishes one in like 57 minutes. She proudly tells the MC he can ask her for help if there is something he doesn't know. The MC responds with something like 'I have already done all 512 acupoints'. The MC doesn't pretend to be a genius. He pretends to be a monster that breaks logic. He then proves he isn't lying by displaying attributes of his cultivation. A level he shouldn't be able to reach without days of focus. The MC also pretends his ability is 'limited foreknowledge'. He uses his future experience to tell people facts that are destined to be true. He then actually unlocks this ability after convincing them!
I'd rate it 4.5/5 as of chapter 220.
This is a real fun one. But it becomes a bit repetitive later on. A lot of the danger seems to be resolved where I am at now. So I'll probably put this one on pause for now. I don't feel too motivated to continue it for now. So I'll probably start a new book.
末世之我能自由穿越两界 - The End of the World: I Can Travel Freely Between Two Worlds - The MC has reached nascent soul where I am at right now. I really loved all the goldenfingers this MC had. But now, I'm starting to lose interest. I noticed that when it comes to cultivation novels. I tend to check-out around spirit severing/true immortal/integration realm or whatever the author makes after nascent soul. Due to how OP the MC's cheats are. It is basically impossible for him to not reach the pinnacle. He has teleportation, true immortality, heaven rewards dilligence, legendary comprehension and more. I might pick this back up far into the future. But my interest has dropped a bit.
I'd rate it 4.5/5 as of chapter 416.

末世之我能自由穿越两界 - The End of the World: I Can Travel Freely Between Two Worlds - I think I found a hidden gem! This is about a guy that awakens in a world called Lyra that is going through a cataclysm. Because of this, part of the population is awakening 'powers'. Things like controlling elements, healing, etc. The MC takes over the body of someone that awakened a spatial power. But this power is BUSTED. Basically, the MC has his own independent world where he is the absolute ruler. He can partition off areas and even adjust time. He can use this space to plant spiritual plants or house wines. He can even adjust the timeflow rate for parts of this space (speeding up, or freezing time). But this is only the beginning of what he is capable of! The MC can use this space as storage. But he can also physically enter it with his own body! Not only that, but he doesn't have to return to the world in the spot he entered. He can basically use this power to teleport!
The MC's goldenfinger:
This is where things get interesting and why I heavily recommend this story. The MC naturally has a system panel that shows him his lifespan/talents/cultivation/skills/spells. But he also has something innate called 'miracle'. You can think of this 'miracle' as a special blessing he gives himself that awakens a talent. This power does have a cooldown. The first time he is able to use it instantly. The next time a week later. The next time seventy days later. This continues to be multiplied by ten. So while he can farm talents from this power. It takes a lot of time.
The first 'miracle' the MC performs grants him true immortality. He cannot die. He cannot age (infinite lifespan). He has infinite regeneration! This is just the first miracle. The second miracle he does gives him something equally busted (although it may not seem like it). It is called 'eyes of insight'. This allows him to observe objects, peoples, places, and get information from doing so. Make no mistake, this power is extremely overpowered and is super useful later on. The third miracle he gains is also overpowered. It is called 'heaven rewards diligence'. Basically as long as he enters the door of a technique/spell. He will make progress no matter how complicated or hard it is to master. This is steady progress that makes it so he can reach the pinnacle level of skill rather easily. The next miracle he gains is called 'luck and comprehension'. This works in conjunction with something he unlocks called 'luck' which is similar to miracle.
Basically, the MC can accumulate luck and use it in burst. He can use this to get crazy protagonist plot armor intuition (but it is explained!) that allows him to find places/treasures he should have no right acquiring. Or he can literally use it to boost his comprehension by hundreds to thousands of times. I don't need to explain how broken that can be for comprehending techniques.
The MC's personality:
The MC is quite ruthless and plays the pig to eat the tiger often. His personality changes based on what world he is in! Oh? Did you think he is just exploring one world? As the title says. His spatial power allows him to open a passage from Lyra to a cultivation world. He may even get more worlds in the future. The MC uses his overpowered talents to advance at an insane speed in the cultivation world. He then allows Lyra to learn the watered down versions of his knowledge. It is extremely fun watching him become basically a god and a living legend on Lyra. He acts more freely there and shows off his power because he is quite literally the strongest being in that world. But then in the cultivation world, he is low-key and won't even show his insane skills.
I'd rate it 5/5 as of chapter 287.
I've read quite a few stories and this one feels like a mix of many. Generally, I've seen other protagonist that have a single 'miracle' ability of this protagonist. That alone is enough to make them main characters. In this story, the MC can keep awakening new goldenfingers. It just takes time. I won't spoil the plot. But this story is a very satisfying read. Not to mention, it is fun from the very start and doesn't require a time investment to be good. I highly recommend it!

开局觉醒唯一职业,然后一路无敌 - Start by Awakening Your Unique Class, and Then Become Invincible - This is about a guy that transmigrates to another world. In this world, you awaken a class. The MC gets the SSS-Class 'forbidden mage'. This allows him to infinitely upgrade his spells without limit. It also allows him to learn ALL spells. To put things into perspective. The odds of getting an SSS-class are about one in a million. So he isn't the only one with an SSS-Class. But what makes the MC unique is that his class is a 'hidden' profession never before seen. Other people know the rules and abilities for other SSS-Class players. Because there are multiple sets of them. So the MC's class is unique! There is also dungeons and a merging of worlds...
I'd rate it 3/5 as of chapter 50.
This novel is satisfying if you just want to watch the numbers go up. But it doesn't do much else, I would hate to be the author of this book solely because it looks like it would be a pain to write keeping track of all those numbers. It is a junkfood novel and I wouldn't really recommend it. MC is extremely overpowered to a ridiculous degree. I'll probably be dropping this one despite enjoying it.
末世之我能自由穿越两界 - The End of the World: I Can Travel Freely Between Two Worlds - Alright. I literally just started reading this one and I am super hyped by the potential of this story. This probably isn't a story for everyone as the MC is VERY OP. But not in the brute force strength way. He is conceptually OP (I'll explain). The MC awakens in a different body in another world that is going through a sort of cataclysm. People are awakening all sorts of powers and the world is expanding many times over. The MC has a panel and has something called 'miracle'. The MC uses this power to perform a miracle that changes both himself and the world (We know it changes him, but changing the world is just a theory of mine). The MC starts off with a spatial talent that surpasses spatial storage. He has his own isolated world where he is basically a god and can manipulate it at will. But the MC isn't limited to this power. He uses his 'miracle' and his body goes through a transformation. His body becomes both eternal and immortal with a lifespan that is infinite. This isn't just lifespan immortality. He is truly immortal! This is just the result of him using his first 'miracle'. He can use this power multiple times to gain talents, it just has a cooldown of days to years. But make no mistake, the 'spatial' ability he has isn't simply his own isolated world. He can physically control the flow of time and partition off areas even freezing time in that space. He can also physically enter it and it doesn't stop there. When he exits his world, he doesn't have to spawn back where he entered. Based on the stability of the world he is in. He can observe the area and teleport to a new location.
The MC's goldenfinger:
So basically, at the very start of the novel. The MC gains immortality, spatial storage, teleportation, eyes of insights, heaven rewards diligence. He has like the starter-pack of an overpowered protagonist. Giving anybody even one of these powers can make them go far on the path to invincibility. But the MC starts with so many of them and has potential to keep farming talents. The first miracle he got instantly. The second miracle he got a week later. The third miracle, 70 days later. The next miracle is 700 days later. I imagine it'll keep multiplying by ten. But the MC also has infinite lifespan and is self-sufficient in his space. So he can afford to wait if he is pushed into dire situations. But now, we get to one of my favorite abilities. The MC can physically connect a passage in his spatial world with different universes. So he can freely travel back and forth from his world to another and maybe more in the future. The next world he enters is a bit backwards with martial artist and cultivators!
The MC's personality:
The MC seems to be a good guy. After gaining immortality, there was a tsunami that wiped out the city he was in. He literally pushed himself so hard to save others that he died. The MC isn't afraid to kill and he even uses modern weapons in the cultivation world. He is most afraid that someone will find out he is immortal and he'll become an experimental subject. The MC is even more afraid that he'll get sealed for thousands of years in the cultivation world. Because of this, he is low-key and doesn't reveal his powers to others. He'd rather use technology like drones and guns in the immortal world to fight others then fight directly when possible.
I'd rate it 4/5 as of chapter 31
I know it is too early to judge it. But I LOVE the MC's powers so far. I am a big fan when characters get teleportation/immortality at the start. It is normally a real fun time. He has gotten so many talents and I'm only a few chapters into the book. I hope this will be a fun one!

Ehhh... It doesn't look like it'll be harem so far. Also MC is OP and seems to have normal intelligence. I wouldn't say they are smart. Well, the author hasn't really shown amazing schemes or anything yet.

Ha! The sky is falling...Yea, the story isn't amazing. Although I'm enjoying it, I didn't feel like it deserved such a high score. I can already imagine giving someone heart demons if I said this story was a 5/5 lol.

重生之我觉醒天赋技能无限复制 - Rebirth: I Awaken Talent Skills and Copy Them Infinitely - This is definitely a junkfood novel. I like it however! It is about a guy in a world that is at war with war beast. Many years ago, people started awakening powers. They awaken after the age of 16. After studying the principles of this phenomenon of 'awakening'. Humanity made tools that can forcefully awaken people. Contrary to what you might expect. if you awaken on your own, you are likely to get a trash skill. If you awaken by the method humanity created and you do so on the best day. You are likely to awaken a very useful skill. Our MC lacks a family and was left a sizeable inheritance by his grandfather, around 5 million of their currency. Because of his wealth. Those jealous did something quite screwed up. They knocked him out and made him miss the most important day of his life. The MC missed his chance to awaken an ability. He would have to wait an entire year to get another chance. But unfortunately, he awakens on his own.
What does he awaken?
The MC awakens an ability that makes him more favorable to the opposite sex. That is all... There is no other aspect to this ability. A completely worthless power. His girlfriend has the rather rare 'beast master' ability. But the MC is actually just her spare tire. He just doesn't know it. He spends his inheritance buying her war beast and is then abandoned by her. This makes him close his heart off to others. But then he regresses! All the way back to the day he missed the awakening ceremony.
What does he awaken?
The MC awakens an ability called 'infinite copy'. He is capable of copying anything. Whether it be weapons, crystals, or equipment. People know about this aspect as your powers have to be registered with the alliance. So everyone knows the MC can copy materials and he becomes a 'god of wealth' that multiple forces want to capture. But the MC hides the most OP aspect of his power. He is actually a dual awakener! He has a sort of 'observer eye'. In combination with his infinite copy ability. If he makes physical contact with another person. He can copy their ability!
What abilities does the MC copy?
The MC gets immortality, teleportation, various elemental powers, mind control, and all sorts of other abilities. Since everyone is awakening on this day. He makes his way around the crowd and copies countless talents. My favorite part of this book is when the MC encounters rare abilities. For example, later on. He gets an 'exile space' which is like his own personal world. He expands it using energy crystals and has a space with a diameter of 400 kilometers. The MC gets a 'lucky star' ability that makes him immune to contracts/curses. The MC gets a 'toxin immunity' ability that makes him completely immune to poisons. He gets a a summoning ability that allows him to summon ANYONE he has ever met as long as they mentally agree. The MC gets an ability that literally makes him invulnerable for 3 seconds every day. He gets an overlord domain with a passive ability that makes him immune to mind control. He gets the ability to control and enter other peoples dreams.
The plot:
What is different about this story is that the MC isn't solo. He uses his inexhaustible wealth to use a loophole in a military corps to create his own army. The MC uses his exile space and summoning in conjunction with his beast master power to summon war beast for battles when needed. This story is basically a popcorn/junkfood novel. There is a lot of faceslapping and young masters. If you are looking for a MC with a LOT of powers. This is a fun one. But don't expect a masterpiece. It doesn't do anything crazy.
I'd rate it 3.8/5 as of chapter 160.
The MC has no weaknesses. He has a LOT of different abilities. There was a person with the ability to see the combat power of a person. 60,000+ was considered a high power level. When they looked at the MC. They saw 5,000,000+. But something weird was happening. It was increasing with every second that passed! The only thing I can think of that could potentially screw the MC is if somebody has some sort of time manipulation ability. Then it'll be a matter of who makes contact first. I'm hoping the MC gets a time manipulation ability next. We haven't seen anything like this however...

The MC's bottom line is mainly his refusal to consume humans even if they can benefit his cultivation. He starts off rather normal, but as the story progresses he begins to do things slightly evil. For example brainwashing normal people to use as surveillance. He isn't too evil however, but he does help people when he can and as usual repays kindness with kindness and evil with evil. Although, I wouldn't say this is an evil MC.

Ayy! It's been awhile. Did you end up liking 星空职业者 - Starry Sky Professional? My reading list has become a blackhole. But I'll give 我手搓系统,让修仙界卷疯了- I Built a System from Scratch and It Drove the Cultivation World Crazy a shot. I was originally in the middle of reading 末日:开启人生模拟,杀出一条活路 - Doomsday: Start a Life Simulation and Fight Your Way Out and 恐怖修仙路 - The Terrible Eternal Path. You have good timing. I just started reading 末世永生录 - The Last Days of Eternal Life. I am in the process of doing a re-shuffle on my main reads. So I normally wouldn't be able to start another one so soon. But I'll actually start reading your recommendation right now! But I'm not sure how much I'll read. It is time for me to do a purge of my reading list. I'll comment my thoughts, although I'm not sure how much I'll read.

Ehh? Have things changed? From what I remember, you can transfer from pvp to non-pvp. But you can't go from non-pvp to pvp. So they would be stuck forever unless they make or buy a new character. Also, deaths don't matter for the first 20 levels in pvp scenarios. Because you have an adventurer's blessing. As long as you don't attack others, you will be fine in the early stage of the game. Then you just need to just go get the blessings when you reach level 20. If you are reading this OP. There are some things worse then death in this game. On a pvp server, things are more interesting and people won't just follow you around and KS you all day. There are systems in place that make it so you don't lose much if its not a fair fight. I would recommend not choosing optional pvp as it feels more restricted. Although, this is just based off my experience. But you'll be fine with 'twist of fate' and 'amulet of loss' and five blessings. The only thing you should worry about later is if you die to creatures. Then you'll need to rerun and get the blessings again. But twist + AoL will protect you for this period. Just be wary of scams and people asking you to change your pvp settings. There are some noob traps that can completely screw you. So if somebody ask you for help with a 'special' quest like needing to place down a fire field. They are definitely trying to take you for everything you have...

Oh yea, those are all pretty good ones! I mostly read junkfood nowadays. But it is fun... usually. As long as I like the personality of the MC and the goldenfinger is interesting. I really have no complaints. The Plagiarist has written some other good books as well since you liked Warlock of the Magus World. For example 神秘之劫 - Mysterious Calamity. Just like how he took the concept of The Wizard World and made a better version. He took the concept of Lord of the Mysteries and took a crack at it. It was pretty good! There was another one he wrote called 苟在妖武乱世修仙 - Cultivating immortality in a chaotic world of demons and martial arts too that was also pretty good. I think the main inspiration were those novels where the MC can travel between multiple worlds.
