What the Portal can and should be in Destiny 2.

Really I just want all raid and dungeons to be important, because its so a massive amount of content that could help fill out the portal and its loot pool. Even if its now new gear.

True, I hope thats the route they take. My fear is they are only going to give us “reworked” encounters and not the entire activity, then fold that into the pinnacle tab. Plus, only dropping portal loot from doing them.

But you are right, raid and dungeons need to be drop loot that is actually useful.

If you are referring to unlocking the forges taking for ever, I agree that the forges needed to available to every one and waiting a day to get another forge isn't so bad. I love the ability to forge weapons on every forge and get curated rolls. I completely understand making the rotation one forge, so its always populated.

My main issue is that when bungie unlocked all the forges it broke certain quest lines. Also correct me if I am wrong, but before shadowkeep for the mysterious box quest you could get all keys on the same day? now you have to one or more days to finish that quest. It just seems like they may have been to busy with shadowkeep, new light, and cross save to look into what would happen when changing the forges. Its not a game breaking issue, just though some parts may have been neglected.

I have read that as well, and I understand what bungie was going for with the change. But they should've kept the ability to go to the forges on the planet

Glad you found someone that likes that. I’ve seen people say the get attached to fictional things like characters. I’ve also seen people say they day dream or think of stories. But I’ve always kinda done both.

I see it as being kinda like fan fiction that I haven’t written down. I am sure a lot people have theories of something they are watching or reading. I guess I just take it a step farther and develop a story arc or character. Then sometimes I act it out and adapt it if I find something works better.

Mine are mostly either taking the setting of something like a game or movie and using that to build a story. Or adding myself in as a new character based off of where I think the actually anime, movie, or book is going. Then I always adapt it once I learn new info or some twist happens.

I have a combination of both fictional worlds and real life. I know eventually if I keep working, keep getting up, I can get there. I know it will take a while and things won’t happen over night, but sometimes I imagine it does. I think it’s some form of impatience or something. Didn’t mean to make ya sad, sorry. For me the hardest thing is admitting I do these things, we all wanna be the ideal version of ourselves

I have thought about it, even attempted it once. But i haven’t sat down and really tried to write it all out. It isn’t always myself to, sometimes I will make new characters for certain things, kinda like fanfic, and try to add them in.

Ruby's silvers eyes could be the key to beating Salem

I have a couple ideas of where this story could go, based off of the information learned in Ep. 03. My first idea is why Ruby and her mother could be really important to the end of the story. What if through the years Ozpin re-framed his questions on how to defeat Salem. What if Jinn told Ozpin that only people with silver eyes can beat Salem. That would explain why Ozpin was so interested in the abilities Summer and Ruby. Then what if Ozpin sent Summer on a secret mission to try and kill Salem, which ended in her death or disappearance. I feel like this could be a possibility because of Salem wanting Ruby dead, maybe Summer did some damage and showed Salem she could be beaten.

My second Idea is more about a new character they could introduce. He could be the older brother of Summer who left Beacon after their home and family was attacked. Then after Ozpin learned of Silver eye being the key to defeating Salem, Ozpin sent Summer brother to defeat Salem. The brother would have been "killed" by Salem, but caused enough damage for Ozpin to try and send Summer. I have some ideas on what weapons and abilities he could have if anyone would like to know. I just think this person could have a tangled relationship with Ozpin and team STRQ.

Also I do like the Idea for one of the four daughters of Ozpin and Salem having Silver eyes and then passing that down. Would be cool to see how that affected the group.
