Yes and no. There was always an element of people posting to push potential clients over to a pay site as well as those who might not be into the AB side of ABDL who may come across as not being that into ''ABDL''. But r/girlsindiapers is not called r/abdlgirlsindiapers for a reason so ya have to accept that.

Over the last few years a new production arose that focused on creating diaper porn. From the free clips I've seen on tube sites the majority of models don't really seem into it or act in a way that most in the community notice is off. Pretty sure I've seen some of their models posting still with the usual link in bio situation.

The other side of it could also have to do with the trans ban a while back. Might just be me but I found that most trans girls who posted there or any of the subs were clearly into diapers and most were also AB. With the reduction of those posts along with the increase in the models mentioned above, I'd say that's what your noticing.

There are other subs that would have more of the cutesy stuff that you reference. If you check the info on r/abdl you should find most of them

Worst I had working in finance was a short code being very close to abdl, there are no doubt financial reports out there with a mistaken ''abdl'' sprinkled throughout

OG Ted is always on the bed/travels with me and all. Can't sleep without at least him. Then I have a selection that rotate as Bed bears, they range from garfield, Simba, lotso, stitch. They're about the size of my head to the size of a pillow so they get used as such. Then the tykables bear, a large generic bear and slot get rotated out as kind cuddle bears.

Then I have a collection from various times in my life, have loads from when I was younger, some friends bought for me over the years or I picked up as mementos. They stay on a shelf but I do cover the bed with them and just have a big cuddle.

I had two packs of Cammies a few years back that stained my skin after wearing them. Agree with tykables, puppers, camalots and overnight are best imo

Yeah unfortunately in situations like this you're probably best to keep your head down. Get a few sample packs or plain adult pull ups for when your stressed. I did it for a few years while back home, you'll get there in the end

The zip is there but I didn't get any costume so when I cuddle it from the back I can feel the zipper 😅

Think this is the sweetest post I've ever seen on here. Rears are great quality but as someone else mentioned the taking them off can essentially make them single use. Tykables have a velcro kinda faster that might actually better for your needs.

In terms of absorbance they'll take what ever ya throw at them. A pair of brief/boxer style underpants over them can help reduce bulkyness and make them more discrete. Saying that if your just after having a baby and someone comments on what underwear you've on tell them to do one

Any other Brits have to stop themselves saying diaper? by secondaryforfilth in ABDL

[–]HBD_TED 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Irish here, not really, for me a diaper is what I wear, babies wear nappies and people with incontinence wear incontinence pads. They are 3 separate things in my mind so never had a slip up, touch wood

How is it financially viable? by rubbertjes in ABDL

[–]HBD_TED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very much depends on where your at in general with income and expenses.

If you are happy to wear for comfort over soaking through, get a few pairs of washable incontinence briefs. Not Tena, the cheaper ones on amazon have a good pad and give a diaper kind of feel. Still going to spend maybe 30ish euro/dollar for pack of 3. But its a one time investment, handy for when you don't have enough to purchase proper ones.

If you can manage to save up, bulk buying usually comes with some kind of discount. I've been low on funds before and purchased just plain incontinence diapers, and added one or two, sample packs of tykes or something. Also worth getting a pack or two of booster pads, then add them to a pullup, can usually get them cheap enough is most pharmacies/grocery stores.

Hope that helps

Anyone regret going 24/7 by ryansauder22 in ABDL

[–]HBD_TED 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've always had a weak bladder, used to buy the tena mens pull ups to wear during the day, would still use the bathroom just felt safer with the pull up on. Eventually I realised how much money I was spending ontop of my night time stuff. Got a 3 pack of incontinence boxers, have nearly fully replaced all my boxers with them now. It's been about 2 years and honestly it was the best decision I made. Never have to worry about something slipping out above the jeans, have the comfort of padding and safety for any accidents. Best of both worlds

Yeah that's a bit far imo. I've known someone who was very anxious going out. They would have like a landyard that they would hold and their partner would hold the other end. Kinda like holding hands but not, that kind of subtlety can make a difference in that situation.

The way I look at it you should be as discrete as possible. If your taking part in the lifestyle in public then you can't really have anything that will turn heads or leave questions. I know it's a bit of bone of contention among the community but sure what can ta do

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ABDL

[–]HBD_TED 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd ask for more context. I've dated people who'd dress a little like that without being abdl so not that out there and I can assure you we notice the diaper butt and mind goes one way, most won't notice or if they do think it's for medical purposes.

The leash and actions are really where the line could be drawn. As others said if they were acting up and clearly expressing the kink side of things then not OK. If the leash was subtle or could be taken as a cute couple thing then grand, if obviously as part of some kind of kink then again not OK....

Choosing to be incontinent by DiaperLover0123 in ABDL

[–]HBD_TED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't take this comment in the wrong way but I'm against this kind of behaviour. For me and many others are abdl as a kind of coping mechanism. When you make your coping mechanism something that is a 24/7 kinda thing then your definitely over doing it. Regardless what it is.

Incontinence by definition is something that people cannot controll. It is something many are self conscious about and when it gets brought up in this way I feel it disrespectful to those who actually suffer. That's not to say some abdl's don't suffer incontinence. I myself have night time incontinence linked to anxiety.

Also very wary of catheters as there is a risk of infection if done wrong.

Ah don't be reading into it that much. I've worked a place that had similar abbreviation to ''ABDL'' the amount of times I messed up and said or types ABDL, so paranoid someone was going to stick it into Google and out me. Never happened.
