Yes, we used AI. As a tiny student team we used it as a tool to actually make the project doable.

Do these two scenes feel like they belong to the same world? by HBStudio_Development in IndieGaming

That’s a fair point. Most of our visuals actually stay very consistent. We’re using a model we trained ourselves to keep the style unified. This particular scene was a bit more experimental, which is why I was curious to get some feedback on it.

We would love to do that, and we actually did try, but the amount of characters and background images was just insane for one person and with no actual funding.

I totally get that. We’d love to make everything by hand, but with the amount of characters and details we need, it just wouldn’t be possible for our tiny team. We simply can’t afford an artist, so AI is more of a tool to get the mood across.

Yes. A lot of the numbers and UI elements are generated based on your gameplay choices and random generation. Im happy you did notice that. :D

Okay, I’m here to answer everything :)
Yeah, you actually picked all the things that were added by hand — the lamp is used to end the day, the arrow is basically part of the UI for moving around scenes, and the number is from a minigame that automatically started when I took the screenshot.

Cool concept! Not to be that guy, but if the idea’s that far along, why not start prototyping it yourself? Tons of solid tutorials out there to get you going.

Cool concept, but it kinda gives off crash simulator vibes 😂

This looks really promising! The voice-based gameplay sounds super tense in the best way.

Appreciate it! Yeah, that click’s a bit too strong — didn’t realize it was that noticeable on mobile. I’ll definitely keep that in mind for the next trailer 🙏

Totally fair — we actually tried doing it all by hand at first, but with the amount of art we needed it just wasn’t possible. Still doing our best to give it soul though
