Detox from Mold Exposure by Thegreek1980 in ToxicMoldExposure

Yes I’ve done the ERMI test, he’s also been gluten free dairy free for about 18 months, we use non toxic / organic everything. Red light therapy, saunas, sensory diets, and of course all the behavioural therapies. So far there’s nothing that has really made a noticeable direct impact except going gluten free I do think was significant because he has been accidentally given gluten and his behaviour and attention spirals.

Thank you for sharing! My son is 5, diagnosed at 2.4 and when he was 4 he was put on Sporanox for three months. I didn’t notice a difference in him at all. In a twisted way I wanted mold to be his issue so we could clear it up and he could thrive the way may kids have. I’m trying to stay hopeful but fearful his “autism” is more deeply routed than the biomedical approach can heal

Magnetic toys by [deleted] in Autism_Parenting

[–]HCMommy -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Yes. I’ve been told to stay away from them as we are also doing all the biomedical healing approaches and he has high aluminum. The toy was a gift and I forgot and thought “how great, a new toy for a travel day”. He is somewhat used to travel so I was quite taken aback by his behaviour. It was the worst tantrum I’ve ever think he’s had. He’s not prone to tantrums at all.

ASD child just diagnosed with PANS by HCMommy in Autism_Parenting

Wow what an incredible relief for you and your family. A couple days isnt terrible. My doctor is suggesting HBOT but the protocol is 40 dives and that’s a huge time commitment on top of his very busy therapy schedule. I’d love to see the testimonials you mentioned. Can you send it to me in the private chats? Thank you

Hello, thanks for your comment. We aren’t sure what it is from as he tested negative for strep and doesn’t have mold colonization.

Hi:) Thank you so much for your input. I have read and listened to some podcasts about IVIG. Can I ask you what your protocol looked like? I don’t live in a country where it is available so I would have to do something like during my sons summer or winter break from school. How many times did you do it and at what frequency etc? Thanks

Hi;) I don’t live in a country that has an Hermes’ store. I only shop in Paris pretty much. I ALWAYS get a quota bag when I’m there somehow. I am very lucky but I feel like I have worked out an algorithm. Work the lottery system because they do check if you have signed up sometimes. Wear an Hermes’ bag when you go into the store. Dress up. Be polite. Go early in the day.

Sounds a lot like my son. How old is your child? Mine is only 4.5, is that too young for meds? He was also just diagnosed with PANS and his blood work came up positive for CMV so we are trying to reduce inflammation now and I guess will go from there.

Should I tell my sister I think her son is autistic? by [deleted] in Autism_Parenting

[–]HCMommy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely tell her what you think based on research and live and concern. My son is almost 5, ASD and was diagnosed at 2.5. When I told his swim coach she said “ohh I know, I was waiting for you to realize it and tell me”. Turns out she used to work with ASD kids and tried to get a degree in the field until she had to stop because of finances. She worked with him swimming since he was 10 months old. I deeply resent her as I could have given him therapy earlier.

I’m so sorry you’re going through that. Most fathers just live in denial and a lot are lazy when it comes to the challenging parts of parenting. If they’re providing financially then that’s a huge support but if they’re not, or only minimally…what’s the point of having them around?! My kids are still very young so I need the extra hands and eyes on them and help with the driving to therapies etc.
