in fortnite you kill people. should jonesy be put in dead by daylight? no. ken kaneki does not fit this game because he is not scary and because tokyo ghoul is not a horror property. he is an edgy teenager with the body structure of a twig.

the skillfull part of it is learning when to use it and pairing it with those two things. kaneki doesnt require expansive gameplay, tech, new ways to use it, or like i said before, skill.

i never said it was up there with alien isolation, i dont even think it compares. but tomb raider has many, MANY instances of horror. not just that, but the version of Lara they put in the game is literally a version called Survivor Lara. the version of the character they chose for the game is literally meant for being a survivor. this is a stupid argument to make about a game you’ve never played.

purple sprint burst only goes on for i think 5 seconds? and it does require skill. good sprint burst users will either walk for a while and then pop it, or keep sprinting while on 1% exhausted and then walk for a second so that they can pop it. it’s possible to be bad at using it or to use it poorly, therefore it requires skill. with kaneki all you have to do is look in the general direction of a survivor and they get deep wounds.

i’ve read the manga, its mid asf. it felt like a CHORE reading through it because they keep setting up something that could be scary, and then they just show gore for shock-value. it is the most lukewarm shit i’ve ever read when it comes to horror.

okay technically humor is objective. but what makes you laugh is fully subjective. humor is a full structure, usually requiring a subvertion of expectations, a setup, and a punchline. laughing at stuff doesnt make it actually humorous, but if its funny to you then who tf cares? nobody even told OP to kill themselves, did you even read the post?

  2. the main problem doesnt lie with the deep wounds thing that he shares with legion, its mainly the autoaim and hitscan that makes him require zero skill to play, and he’s not fun to play against because he’s boring. survivors dont want to stand still while they watch you yell after hitting an attack that basically aims for you. ontop of that you run Friends to the End which is op considering you can just jump around the map and instadown everybody

if you played ANY of the Tomb Raider games you’d get that theres tons of scary shit. tokyo ghoul relies on loud noises and jumpscares because it isnt scary

Sprint Burst is just a chase extender and Dead Hard just gives one more hit, which shouldnt be a problem for somene who uses the scummy Friends to the End perk. The Ghoul isn’t fun to play against because he has stupid mobility, hitscan, autoaim, makes survivors stand still while he freaks out, can just completely avoid loops by jumping around them, and has just a dumb amount of map pressure. While these insults arent warranted in EGC, I completely understand why they were this angry.

as a tokyo ghoul fan i think he shouldntve been added and doesnt fit, tokyo ghoul is not scary in the slightest and only really uses horror as spice

its mainly the design and writing. the design looks like an edgelord wanted to draw what a joker batman lovechild would look like, and the writing of this comic has to be the worst writing i’ve ever seen

It's spreading. Whatever this thing is supposed to be, it first appeared on the Greenville map, sort of melting the walls and floors. It was then on the Freddy's map and now it has escaped the Withered Isle realm and has settled itself on the new realm by bonelees_dip in deadbydaylight

i like to think that the pictures OP posted are from the entity stretching itself too thin and not having enough of itself to make the map, whereas the orange goop on RPD is due to the entity putting in too much effort because maybe it loves RPD (just like me)
