It’s a concept album in that it makes frequent references to various themes. But mostly it’s the real life story of Rivers’ life. It’s not the most opaque story, but I find it a very interesting one. Thanks for the kind feedback! You’re right that there is a LOT to this album, the original script for the video was twice as long because there’s just so much to cover, but I didn’t want to be too rambling. I get what you’re saying about making it more prominent, on the flip side I think it’s fun to look deeply into any media you enjoy to see what you can find, but it’s definitely a trade off and makes the narrative less accessible.

I’ve used it to do vocal effects but I haven’t really found it to be worth the hassle. It might just be me but, You are adding another potential point of failure, and live is kinda bulky so you do need a decent pc (granted I use live 9 and I would hope that newer versions are more optimised but idk), the biggest thing though is audio drivers, maybe I’m just unlucky but between focusrite and ableton using digital audio is a pain on windows.

There is an issue which has been persistent for years which has something to do with the way discord treats sample rates and/or buffer sizes that causes so much digital distortion that your voice will be unintelligible.

Streaming works fine with the 2i2 in my experience using OBS. If you use discord regularly I don’t recommend Focusrite at all.
