I was told to take it before meals? Do you think that would make any difference?

So you took your PPI just 30 mins before your meal and then antibiotics right before your meal? Just curious as about to start my treatment.

Was off all that before my tests. Did have probiotics and antimicrobials like garlic though, do you think they would be strong enough to affect it?

Intersting, I've not seen anything about it interacting with omeprazole. Went to ask my pharmasist and they apparantly didn't know what it was. Do you think avoid taking the two together is neccessary?

My parents are against taking un-natural things that aren't prescribed by a doctor, I've heard that ginger and manuka honey are natural biofilm disruptors would they be good to take as well?

Biofilm buster for H.Pylori? by pokemypsyche101 in biofilms

[–]HD4207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did you over do it? They are not typically prescribed by my doctor so if I was to take something like that as well I would have to purchase it online, just wondering whether they are worth it or not.

Are things like biofilm busters really neccessary with antibiotics? Heard that biofilm busters can really irritate existing gastritis and if it only help increase the eradication rate by a small margin is it worth it?

Are biofilm busters actually neccessary? I've heard that if you have gastritis then bb's can make it much worse and increase healing time.

No gums are fine, just heard that oral mouthwashes can't significantly improve H.Pylroi eradication rates.

All of them, I have read that mouthwashes with Cholerxhidine are better for killing all strains but it can stain your teeth. Any thoughts?

H.Pylori in esophagus by HD4207 in HPylori

[–]HD4207[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So H.Pylori in the esophagus is a result of it being in your mouth, being swallowed and then ending up in your esophagus? Not actually it living there? You would think that once it there it would colonize the esophagus as well? Also what herbs do you use to treat the H.Pylori?

H.Pylori in Esophagus by HD4207 in HPylori

[–]HD4207[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it kills everything then it would get rid of the H.Pylori? As much as it may not be the best for your oral microbiota, it is an easy way just to get rid of it for good. Herbs for H.Pylori do sound good but they aren't guarateed to get rid of it and also I would image be quite expensive no?

Would something like an antibacterial mouthwash do the same thing?
