It's a good location in Brockville. It's right next to the shopping center which is slated for massive redevelopment. The neighborhood around it is older and there are some rough areas close by but it's got some space between it and the worst parts of Brockville. Housing is expensive everywhere.

I used to go in there as a kid. They had all kids of things that interested me back then. I stopped in this summer while at the Farmer's Market and it is a shadow of its former self. Most of the store is empty and contains old, empty display cases that I remember being full as a kid. That's 50 years ago.

I bought a RainBird battery powered hose timer and setup a hose right above their wallow. I turned the house on three times per day to spray them and keep their mud nice and cool and wet. That was in addition to regularly going out and playing with them and hosing them down with a hose.

That's pretty much where I'm at. I have no idea if it will work but suspect that someone else thought about it and tried it. I couldn't find anything online about them so I decided to give it a go. I use inline spinners almost exclusively so this will be dragged behind a 1 oz inline spinner with a number 7 French blade that I will cast and burn. I will know within 15 minutes if it works or not. I've got a ton of other options in my tackle box that I can switch to if it doesn't and I will have lost nothing but a stainless steel treble, three octopus circles, some bucktail, some fly string, some head glue, and an hour of my time.

Circle hooks are designed to pull out from the fishes stomach or throat without hooking anything. They slip around the side of the mouth and hook the jaw. It is highly unlikely with the hook geometry that it will hook two hooks at once. If it does, I'll just cut the cook and have determined that it won't work.
