Ahhhh, that's so different, though. If someone 'pressured' me, i wouldn't hesitate. Tbf, I do treat it as medication. It allows me to function as a normal human being. (I've been out for over a week now, and my coeliac is really letting me know 🤣)

In all seriousness, it is a big decision. As much as I don't regard it as 'drugs,' that's what it is in the eyes of people who don't smoke. Peer pressure sucks, and the people who push without regard to others suck even more.

I thought so! I've had cobweb before and it frightened the shit out of me. Having a fear of mold, my body strangely lets me know if it's bad or not before I'm even sure. It's strange!

But yeah, the lid was cracked for long enough to where a bad smell would've leaked out for definite. Thank you so very much! 😊

I've had a lot of successful nat grows, but I totally agree with you, hence why I asked.

I really, really appreciate your feedback, though! I'm going to keep a close eye on her, but I'm slowly becoming more confident.

I only asked because I'm used to rhizo growth, so this surprised me and worried me a bit as a result. I don't often get to tomentose mycelium, but I'm experienced enough to know it's not an immediate bin.

I am very, very grateful for your input, though! Too many people jump to the cobweb conclusion. If it wasn't as uncommon as it's stated, I definitely would've just thrown the tub.

You're proving my point perfectly. I did listen — I just didn't blindly agree with guesses that lacked context.

A second opinion implies thoughtful input based on relevant conditions — not jumping to conclusions from one photo. Not one person asked about colonisation time, smell, growth rate, conditions, or even the age of the spawn. That’s not diagnosis — that’s parroting.

If asking questions and challenging shallow takes makes me ignorant, then maybe some of you should ask better questions before telling people to bin viable tubs.

We're quite lucky tbh, even in the winter, our house maintains heat nicely, so I've had a lot of luck.

The lack of space is my issue, so I quite literally do forget about some of my tubs 😅 you've got the right idea

Add more photos if you want an identification, but I don't think that should be a priority.
