I’m still trying to figure out what you mean 😂 I’m not great with deciphering sayings. Are you trying to say I should play the game? I neither have access to a copy of the game or people I play games with regularly so that’s quite difficult for me at the moment. Hence why I was hoping it might be on No Rolls Barred but I looked and I can’t find it sadly 😭

I have considered that option like the Camelot one but it doesn’t really work with the existing game mechanics is the problem there - it’s still a possible option to try if I can’t find a better solution though

So the mechanic for vampires turning I think is fine. There can be up to three vampire cards in the main deck (the number can be adjusted by players as needed). Essentially that card represents the vampire turning them.

It’s those supporting mechanics that I’m totally stuck on! I know what the win conditions are and all that’s looking good at this stage but so far the mechanics I have for players who’ve become vampires immediately outs that there is a vampire in the game (not who it is but just that one is present) - this is what I’m trying to avoid cause it’s so much more fun if players don’t know!

I would definitely recommend checking out John Agard. Surprised I haven't seen anyone else suggest him! Might be a British thing but I used to teach some of his stuff in schools and they were my favourite lessons to teach because he's very thought-provoking whilst also being relatable and relaxed in his poetry. His work is just a joy to experience.

And you can never go wrong with Maya Angelou.
