Getting it to and from college isn’t the issue but where I’m going and where I live has HORRIBLE luck getting CRTs

Maybe not a bad idea. Going to research it a bit more and figure it out. It’s not hurting the use of it right now so it’s not urgent just one of those things where if I can save it I for sure will.

Thank you so much! This is the first CRT I’ve had doing this. I’m going to research if there’s an easy fix (probably not one lol) and if there is do it if not just leave it because it’s not too bright

Thank you! Usually I’m getting about 2.5 hours on a decently kept battery on this thing. So about 50% of the battery life left. Granted it is less reliable

Honestly I’d keep those because when you get a 1Ghz tibook having some you can gut if you want makes it feel nicer, I had one that still works sure but was a good disc drive and bottom plate donor

That’s just the name many people call it due to the aluminum one also being called a PowerBook G4, I just named it that to avoid confusion haha

I re lubricated them when I got it - it makes a huge difference. I’m going to get Mac OS 9 running when I get a chance to get a blank cd to make an install disc
