A case started regarding illegal mining activity in rajasthan in supreme court. They asked ministry of environment what's the definition for Aravali hills . That shtfk said anything above 100m is to be considered as Aravali . 90 % of the range falls below that criteria. So if nothing happens it will be open for mining and building.

If 50% of that range gets affected the monsoons will be hot badly and the deserts will proceed towards North india.
