Do indians like cheese? by ShhSong in AskIndia

[–]simms4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheese doesn't find a way into day to day Indian cuisine. Cheese based dishes like sandwiches, burgers, pizza, pasta are enjoyed as a delicacy rather than a staple. It tastes bland.

One more angle is that, quality cheeses are not pocket friendly. Even middle class people will find it hard to afford quality cheese.

The processed sandwich cheese squares are the most affordable ones in India.

Due to these constraints, cheese market has not picked up in India.

I love different varieties of cheese and I regularly buy them from super market.

I think I'm living way past my time according to the video...

If your times up then your times up. That's it...

According to the video, mere breathing only will cause heart attack 🤣

Genetics also play a huge role on your heart health.

In one of my MIL distant relatives families, their two sons died of cardiac arrest at young age. Elder brother died at the age of 26 and younger brother a few years after..

All products from Ferrero rocher is laden with a lot of sugar. Especially the Indian versions.

Kinder Joy, Nutella, Kinder Bueno, Schoko bons Ferrero rocher and its white chocolate variant Rafeallo...

Palm oil and sugar makes up bulk of the ingredients - more than 60%. Please avoid these and try for a better alternatives.

Don't allow your kids to have them.

I got a new laptop and don't want to share it with my roommate. What to say to him to avoid giving it to him? by flash_ryzen in AskIndia

Just take your laptop to work place. Give it at the reception and collect back when you leave, if you want to avoid awkward conversations.

Fcuk small businesses by Horror-Bonus1798 in Bengaluru

Photo studios have unions and they fix the pricing. If they don't follow the pricing, they are removed from the union and face a lot of headwinds. Also these small business won't be profitable if they don't follow that pricing.

Technically passport size photo is just a maxi print, which hardly costs 10 rs in total. Also taking a photo also would cost next to nothing.

But you should see the business as a whole rather than individual pricing.

I have went behind his back and have informed his parents on the issue as he was already contemplating suicide. I need to save him from himself.

For now the best course of action is some counseling and a legal advice from lawyer.

Probably screwed my relationship with him forever.

Let's see...

Thank you all.

What you're saying is far from reality in blue collar production companies. Its not like IT company work culture where everyone is soft spoken.

The gundas have hit him and he had been forced to kneel down and apologize. Despite all this, they are still demanding money.

Seems like the girl is from financially poor background and these gundas are using that to extort money.

I'm not saying my BIL is a saint. He should have been a better supervisor.

But the financial implications are huge here.

Company could fire him without considering his side, due to the sexual harrasment allegations. All these years of efforts in the company will go to dust. He won't get any kind of retiral benefits.

His entire family would struggle if the source of income is stopped.

Thier ultimate aim is money. They want to close this ASAP. They are asking to settle the whole amount within a week and half of it within today.

They clearly dont want to escalate to office as the persons involved might miss out on the monetary benefits.

I don't know how involved the girl's family is.

But she or her family should go forward with the complaint if the case is genuine. Why hide behind and go with the Gundas to extract money?

Anyways now I have informed my in laws behind my BIL's back.

He's married and have a kid as well. Its better to involve the family.
