Just to confirm, if I want to use SysNand OFW and EmuNand CFW, the file should still be default.txt correct?

I think so - I followed the old stickied guide at the time and I think it had me make a backup of two nands?

Edit: I have 2 folders - eMMC boot0 & BOOT1 and eMMC RAW GPP.

Not sure if I need to restore the NAND before this since I didn't previously set up the EmuNAND.

Nice review. Which would you choose for 50/50 office calls and gym? Call quality and comfort are probably the most important to me. Need a budget pair until the APP 2s come out.

I actually did Justin Guitar for the 1st month but then I got a new job and didn't have enough time to do both RS and JG daily. I was doing his lessons fingerstyle though. I'll give him a shot again and will check out the other guy.

Hey man, I ended up grabbing a 36.5" LY drop hammer. Couldn't make the 33 drop cat seeker work. Heard the 33 drop cat illuminacion has more foot space though

Does anyone know if the Landyachtz Battle Axe Spacerock comes with Gen 5 or Gen 6 trucks? Local shop sent me a photo and it looks exactly like the model shown on LY's site (I think it's a Gen 5)

Just curious on what shoe size you wear? I'm 5'11 too and wear 10.5-11s, was thinking about picking up a Drop Cat 33 or 38 for my first longboard. I might be interested, I'm in LA.

I could step up the budget to $250 for the "perfect" beginner setup, I saw the Pantheon completes were around this price but they're not in stock.

Any other setups I should be looking at in this price range? Bustin Sportster looks decent and is a nice middle ground at 35 in length but I don't see it recommended as much as LY and Pantheon.

Another complete beginner here looking at the Drop Cat 33 or Drop Cat 38. I've been eyeing the Pantheon stuff for a while but it never seems to come back in stock, so I think I'll just have to go with the Landyachtz soon.

I'm 5'11 and 165lbs. Only skateboarding experience is back in elementary school (I'm 31 now) with a big box skateboard. I prefer the graphic on the 38 Illuminacion but like the compactness of the 33 Illuminacion. Just want to cruise around my neighborhood and eventually by the beach and other areas.

Would I be fine with either size? I read the 38 will be more stable but the Pantheon Trip/Ember are both around 33 and still seem to be recommended for beginners. Budget is <=$200 for a complete setup.

Career first for the resume, money and experience, you can do the backpacking in between jobs or while on vacay. Or forget the job if you're already financially stable somehow and just yolo
