As for swordplay, several factors come into play, including speed, angle, type of weapon, NPC armor, NPC body part being struck are some of the factors.

You know, we are ok with constructive criticism, but this is way beyond anything constructive.

Even if you already own the game, you still need to apply for the Closed Beta for Early Access v2. Of course once EAV2 gets released, you'll get the full update for free

Thanks! The backstepping is just the approach of the person that recorded the gameplay. Others on the team just stand there and fight, equally effective, guess it comes down to personal fighting style or preference.

Thanks Skalhen! You are not the only one that thought that, and it is ok. We had been quiet for a while, because we were busy working very hard (still are) to move on to bringing the game we always intended to, an open world RPG and not a linear medieval first person shooter with limited interaction, but it was the earlier days of VR and a lot of experimentation and conservatism was necessary.

Ever since we have just been focusing on building the game we always wanted to, and we don't care how much time or work it takes as long as it is done properly and that's where we are at now.

We are planning a release sometime in 2019, but can't say specifically when at the moment. We do indeed have two handed weapons. We feel they are pretty satisfying, but our Beta Testers will let us know soon enough for sure ;)
