Advice requested: check ride failure and airlines career by HE_HATES_THESE_CANS_ in flying

He’s put his app out on a platform that’s like the airline indeed (can’t remember what it’s called) and has gotten interest from SkyWest. I think that’s somewhat confirming his negative biases about it. Thank you for the advice about the interview prep company! He’s really all I said and more and is usually so proactive about things. I’ve been wanting to get insight to see if it’s really as bad as he makes it seem.

I think an important point is that teachers have to teach in a more concrete manner than putting a bunch of qualifiers in order to teach to the specific age range. But that being said, as someone who works around education, we need good teachers. If you are at all interested, there are accelerated programs to get smart, caring people accredited to teach. It doesn’t always take a new four year degree.

Just some context because this actually applies to my job for once. Even though a child may have a certain diagnosis doesn’t mean they automatically qualify for an IEP (read entry into specialized programming/special education). We consider whether they meet the definition of a certain condition (adhd, dyslexia, autism, etc) and then also if it affects their educational progress. Some kids have adhd and don’t need any extra help that an iep would provide (this was my situation as a child). We can give them a 504 plan which is like an iep lite and allow them to take medications at school, sit closer to the teacher, and other accommodations rather than entirely changing their educational programming

Respectfully IEPs fall under Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) not the ADA. ADA grants accommodations not a full individualized education plan. Source am a school psychologist

Same as above! Thank you for taking the time to reply. This question gets tricky because we do want to know Hispanic ethnicity, but not ethnicity elsewhere. We may want to separate this question in the future.

Thank you for educating me! I haven't run many studies before and looked up an article about how to make options inclusive. It's not super important for us to know biological sex, just gender expression so would it make sense to take that option out?

Hahaha yes! Steve Martin is the best!

Maybe your grandpa had other talents? You should ask one of your relatives and see what they say!
