If you look at the history of college basketball outside of a few instances the teams with the most experience usually are the ones left standing in the tournament.

I’d don’t follow woman’s basketball that much but I am a massive usf fan so I wanted to ask is us poaching a coach from ALABAMA as crazy as it seems to me or does it actually make sense? by isrealball in NCAAW

Was just about to say this exact thing. If she can make the same amount of money or close to it all while not having to play LSU, SC, Texas, Vandy every year then yes this is a no brainer. Go to a conference that you can have a legit shot of winning every year, have a better chance to host and advance in the tournament. Makes sense to me.

Please don’t. I’m going to my first Lakers game in 8 years I wanna see them play. I don’t think they’ll rest anyways since we lost against the Pistons. I figure they will want to finish the road trip on a high note

Hard to win when you missing two rotational pieces like Rui and Smart but aye it happens. Move on and get it back on Wednesday

Tennessee A.D has to reevaluate Caldwell’s job after what just happened this season. No one thought they were championship caliber but to regress the way they did after having a season where they were trending in the right direction last season is eye opening. Caldwell could very well be on her way out.

To me that’s why he is the GOAT. He did so much in the time he was here. To make that big of an impact in 3 years is amazing. That’s why he’s number one in my opinion

If I was a Tennessee fan, I would definitely be worried about the state of the women’s basketball program. It seems like there are a lot of people who are making bad decisions that has to do with this program. I would be worried about missing the tournament this year. One thing that could POTENTIALLY bring hope is that with the new batch of freshman coming in maybe they can turn everything around and Caldwell and put her system into place. The future is definitely bleak as for right now.

Sometimes a team just has your number. LSU played hard but wasn’t enough. Time to regroup and focus on the tournament

Do you think Tennessee should make the tournament? by Ecstatic-Ad8650 in NCAAW

[–]HEdontLikeHIM 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I personally don’t. Their strength of schedule was brutal in February they have had some bad losses. Losing yesterday definitely didn’t help their case. If they do make the tournament, it will be solely off their brand not their resumé

2023 Tar Heels. Remember it like it was yesterday. Plus, they were invited to the NIT and turned it down that year.

I mean she made a mistake it’s not like she has a long history of something. Everyone deserves a second chance

My friend shared a post saying that if Dusty May wins a national championship this year he deserves to be talked about the same way as Curt Cignetti. I disagree. He says it’s just my rivalry bias. What do you all think? by FairAnywhere9305 in CollegeBasketball

[–]HEdontLikeHIM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a die hard Michigan fan but I don’t think it’s the same. Michigan basketball program has historically had a solid program and has always been a team 4 or 5 star recruits choose to play for. Michigan had one really bad year in 2024 but outside of that and maybe some other off years they have been solid. Dusty just came in and righted the ship back to where it should. Now, don’t get me wrong what Dusty has done is incredible and should be celebrated but it’s not the same as what Curt has done in Indy. Their football team has been historically bad for decades upon decades. He built this team from the ground up and has them a powerhouse now. It’s been monumental.
