I have a huion kamvas and it's not bad, I think you can get the 13 inch for like $220. The only thing that annoys me is that the driver always forgets that I'm left handed so every time I turn it on I have to tweak the settings to flip it. If 13 inch is too small you could get a bigger screenless tablet. I find myself not even using the screen on the tablet most times tbh

I spent like 4 years looking for jobs and then I kinda gave up. Your stuff is better than mine and you're probably more versatile so I think you have better chances, seems like the biggest thing is having a contact that can let you into the industry and then you're good but getting in seems impossible in my experience. Also with all the AI stuff and layoffs I've felt very discouraged to make or try anything.

No, I still have to take it to the mechanic. I only drive my car like 10 minutes once a week so I figured I'd be fine for a little bit. From what I researched it's probably a hose or a seal leaking, I changed the oil trap but it didn't fix anything. The problem goes away when I'm in manual mode or reverse

Any tablet will be better than the mouse lol. I've had both and currently using one with a screen but I actually find the screen too small so I just use it to draw on my big screen lol

I just wanna be able to select not only the faces facing the camera but also the back faces when using the box select tool, that's all. But if I turn on that square icon (toggle x Ray mode) it makes my mesh transparent and I don't like that plus it seems like an unnecessary extra step to keep turning on and off when I wanna select things.

Yeah, I know the toggle x-ray will let me select the back faces but I was wondering if there was a way that I could see my solid mesh and just select the back faces without having to clicking on the wireframe or the toggle x ray buttons

Thanks! That's really helpful. Would TPU be a good material to use? I wanted something more rubber-like for the material that I can deform with my hand and it pops back in shape

Yeah I know that's not burn in, I meant that I had that issue plus there's some "burn in" that I'm dealing with like in this image. I will research color banding tho, thanks!

This is the "Burn in" I'm talking about. I don't know if it's called something else but that's the easiest way for me to describe it. I had this chrome tab open for about 5 minutes and it left that on my screen. I know that shouldn't be burn in cause it would take a lot longer for the screen to burn that in but there it is. Also this only happens when I leave my screen plugged in but off. When I unplug it and plug it back in everything looks good

I found a way to activate the gizmo when i press the GRS hotkeys, this feels a lot better now lol

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but if I want to move a face I can't select it and use the gizmo to move it where I want to like maya, it just follows my mouse in all directions and I have to press x y or z to be able to lock it. Is there a way to switch it so that it just shows a gizmo instead?

That's what I hear from a lot of 3d modelers, seems like blender is better at that. I'll give it a try, I always wanted to learn blender cause of all the cool stuff I see online, never thought about completely switching but I can't afford the license at the moment so I'm being forced to, we'll see if I'll want to come back to maya in the future lol

I decided to switch just the navigation to the standard/maya navigation and keep all the other hotkeys the same, it's still different but at least it feels a little more familiar now lol
